Finding a Mythic+ group in World of Warcraft often means staring at the Group Finder, refreshing listings, and hoping a leader picks you before the role fills up. Realm Legends, formerly known as KeyScout, changes that routine. It is a set of group-finding addons that work while you play, turning the key presses you already make into real Group Finder actions. Your next group is one button press away.
What Realm Legends Does for World of Warcraft Players
The core idea is simple. You keep questing, farming, or doing world content, and Realm Legends keeps your applications filled with the best available groups. Every step still needs a genuine key press, exactly the way Blizzard requires, and you decide which keys count. The addon never accepts invites for you, and it stays silent in chat unless you deliberately turn that on.
KeyScout, the Retail module, handles Mythic+ applications. It maintains up to five open slots and refills them with the next best match whenever one is declined, delisted, or expires. It also trades up, replacing your weakest application when a clearly better group appears, and cleans up applications whose role has already filled.
How the Match Score Works
Every listing gets a Match score built from several factors:
- Your key level and the dungeons you have selected
- What the group still needs and what your spec brings, such as Lust, battle res, or a missing dispel
- The group leader and how fresh the listing is
Sellers and carry teams are skipped by default, though you can change that under Filters and Advanced. The Listings tab shows every group from your last search along with its score or the exact reason it was skipped, plus a button that opens the setting behind each skip.
Getting Started: How to Install Realm Legends
Setup takes three steps. First, pick your key level; it starts from the keystone in your bags, and every current dungeon is already selected. Second, paste the addon's search line into the Group Finder once. Blizzard does not allow addons to type in that box, so Realm Legends displays the exact text, such as +09 10 for +10 keys only. You click it, copy it, paste it, and press Enter. The panel turns green when it is set. Third, click ON and go back to playing.

Choosing What Triggers It
Under Applying and Key Press, you can set the trigger to any action button, only the keys you pick, or only the addon's own keybind, such as your mouse wheel. Clicking the panel always works as well. When an invite arrives, you accept it and you are in.
Game Versions and Addon Compatibility
Realm Legends ships as a single download, and each game version loads only its own module. KeyScout is built for Retail and covers modern Mythic+ dungeons. TagAlong, the second module, is designed for WoW Forever and is coming soon; it groups you with nearby players who are on the same quest, invites them on your next key press, and quietly disbands when nothing is shared anymore unless someone chooses to keep the group.
Compatibility across Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and MoP depends on which modules are active for those clients, so check the current build notes before you download Realm Legends for a specific version. The addon works in every game client language, and the interface is English for now, with translations welcome.
Extra Tools for Key Pushers
Once you are inside a run, the addon shows the dungeon and key level, each player's rating, item level, and best run in that dungeon, plus whether the group has Lust, battle res, interrupts, and dispels. Insights break down how your groups performed by readiness, rating, gear, affix, and dungeon, while Vault Goals and Plan by Dungeon help you target the exact keys you need. Useful commands include /ks for the panel, /ks menu for settings, /ks group for a group summary, and /ks help for the full list.
Realm Legends is in early testing, so expect rough edges and frequent updates. Even so, for anyone tired of clicking listings in Silvermoon for half an hour, it turns a tedious chore into something that happens in the background. Keep playing, keep your slots full, and let the addon handle the rest.
