MMP_Routing: Live MDT Route Guide for WoW Dungeons

MMP_Routing turns your MDT route into a live in-game guide with pull-by-pull directions for World of Warcraft. Stop alt-tabbing mid-key.

MMP_Routing

Every Mythic+ runner knows the pain: you plan a clean route in Mythic Dungeon Tools, then spend the key frantically alt-tabbing to remember which pack comes next, which mob must be kicked, and where Bloodlust is supposed to land. MMP_Routing solves that problem by turning your MDT route into a live, in-game guide that follows you pull by pull while you run the dungeon.

The addon automates nothing and never reads combat data. It simply presents the information you prepared in advance in MDT, which keeps it fully in line with Blizzard's addon rules. If you want a cleaner key experience without breaking any rules, this is exactly the tool you have been looking for.

What MMP_Routing Shows You on Screen

Once you enter a dungeon in Mythic or Mythic+, the compact panel and the minimap overlay open on their own. The panel displays the dungeon name, key level, and timer with the +3 / +2 / +1 tiers, plus deaths and time lost. The current pull is front and center: something like PULL 4 / 13, the enemy forces before and after the pull, and a forces bar that fills as mobs die.

Each pull comes with a mob list showing portraits, counts, and force values. Mobs tick off as they die, and two simple tags do a lot of heavy lifting:

  • P marks DPS priority targets
  • K marks mobs that must be interrupted

Pull badges add another layer of clarity: BL for Bloodlust, NO CD DPS, BIG HEAL, CD DEF, and TANK DMG. Notes you wrote in MDT appear for the current pull, and a colored chip shows your gap to the route, whether you are ahead in green, behind in orange, or can no longer reach 100 percent in red. At the end, the panel either tells you what is still missing or celebrates with ROUTE COMPLETE.

The Minimap and NO PULL Warnings

The minimap uses MDT's own map, centered on your current pull. The active pull is outlined, green before combat and orange during it. The next pull shows in white, previous pulls darken, and later pulls stay grey. Mobs you marked as NO PULL pulse in red with a cross, and a red banner names them when they get close to your pull. Alerts can be set to Alert plus sound, Alert only, or None, with a Try it button so you can preview each one.

If you prefer managing your addons through a dedicated tool, the foxygame.net launcher keeps MMP_Routing updated automatically alongside the rest of your collection, so you never run an outdated build after a patch. Mob forces can also be shown directly on nameplates in Mythic+, as a percentage, raw value, or both.

Annotating Your Route in MDT

MMP_Routing uses a fixed annotation standard that reads identically in every language, so your whole group interprets the route the same way. Right-click a mob in MDT and set a target marker: Cross means NO PULL, Skull means DPS priority, Square means interrupt, and Diamond combines priority and interrupt.

Pull notes start with a # and the pull number, followed by one keyword per line. Keywords like !prio:, !kick:, !!BL, !!KDPS, !!HEAL, !!DEF, and !!TDMG generate the corresponding tags and badges automatically. Write mob names in English, even partial names, so the notes work for everyone. Typos are reported in chat so you can fix them quickly.

Sharing and Testing Routes

You can share your route with the group from the gear menu or with /mmp share outside keys. Players who have MMP_Routing can import it into MDT in one click, and it never overwrites their own routes. Those without the addon get a short chat recap covering Bloodlust pulls, defensives, heavy healing, and tank damage. Want to try it without risking a key? /mmp sim runs a one-minute fake key over a full 14-pull route.

Compatibility and How to Install

MMP_Routing for World of Warcraft supports Retail, Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and MoP, making it a solid companion across the versions most players still run. Mythic Dungeon Tools is a hard requirement, and the addon is available in English and French, with mob and dungeon names following MDT's translations.

To get started, download MMP_Routing from your preferred addon source, extract it into your Interface/AddOns folder, and make sure Mythic Dungeon Tools is installed alongside it. If you are unsure how to install addons manually, the process is the same as any other WoW addon: close the game, drop the folder in place, and restart. Everything else lives under Options, including profiles, alerts, panel and map sizing, colorblind-friendly dot colors, nameplate forces, and chat verbosity.

Final Thoughts

MMP_Routing fills a gap that most dungeon addons ignore: it does not play the game for you, it just makes sure the plan you already built stays visible when it matters most. From priority tags and interrupt markers to NO PULL warnings and route gap tracking, every feature exists to reduce mid-key confusion. Build your route in MDT, annotate it once, and let the panel guide your group through the run.
