Telefono Funcional/Functional Landline Wall Phone x Cepzid Creation TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL
If you have been searching for a way to bring classic home communication into your Sims' lives, the Telefono Funcional/Functional Landline Wall Phone x Cepzid Creation TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL is the mod you need. This add-on transforms the base game's decorative wall phone into a fully interactive object, and now with a complete Spanish translation, it fits perfectly into any Latin American or Spanish-speaking player's game. Whether you are building a cozy family home or a retro-inspired apartment, this functional landline adds a layer of realism that modern smartphones simply cannot match.
What Makes This Landline Functional?
The original creation by Cepzid Creations is a masterpiece of modding, and this translation pack ensures that every interaction, tooltip, and notification appears in clear, natural Spanish. The Telefono Funcional/Functional Landline Wall Phone x Cepzid Creation TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL allows your Sims to make and receive calls, just like in the good old days. However, the standout feature is the ability for children and adults with the "Goofball" trait to make prank calls. This adds a hilarious new dynamic to gameplay, as your mischievous Sims can now dial up their neighbors and friends for a laugh.
There are two versions of this mod available: the autonomous version and the non-autonomous version. You can only choose one for your game, so think about your playstyle. If you want Sims to independently use the phone without your input, go for the autonomous version. If you prefer to have full control over when calls are made, the non-autonomous version is your best bet. This flexibility ensures that the mod works for both hands-on players and those who enjoy a more chaotic, simulation-driven experience.
Installation Requirements and Compatibility
Before you rush to download Telefono Funcional/Functional Landline Wall Phone x Cepzid Creation TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL, you must understand that this file is only the translation. You will need to download the original mod from Cepzid Creations' Patreon page, linked in the original description. The translation simply overwrites or adds the Spanish strings to the existing mod, so without the base file, nothing will work. This mod is compatible with The Sims 4 base game and does not require any expansion packs, although having the "Goofball" trait from the base game is essential for the prank call feature.
When it comes to mod compatibility, this landline works seamlessly with most popular mods, including custom content packs and UI overhauls. However, if you use other phone-related mods, you may experience conflicts, so it is always wise to test the mod in a clean save first. The translation supports the latest game patches, and the creators, Mitsuko Simmer and Dkrbto, regularly update the file to ensure it remains functional with new Sims 4 updates.
How to Install the Mod
Installing this mod is straightforward, but following the steps correctly will save you time and frustration. First, ensure you have downloaded the original mod from Cepzid Creations. Next, locate your Sims 4 Mods folder, which is typically found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Place the original mod files into this folder, and then add the translation file from the Telefono Funcional/Functional Landline Wall Phone x Cepzid Creation TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL download. Make sure to unzip any compressed files before placing them in the folder.
After adding both files, launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other to enable mods and script mods. Restart the game completely to ensure the mod loads correctly. You can then search for the wall phone in Build Mode under the Electronics or Communication category. Place it on any wall, and your Sims will immediately have access to a functional landline. If you encounter any issues, double-check that you have not installed both the autonomous and non-autonomous versions simultaneously, as this will cause conflicts.
