Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley
Teen Sims often feel underserved when it comes to meaningful extracurricular content. They age up from child activities and suddenly find themselves with fewer options for after-school growth. The Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley add-on changes that completely. This mod introduces a fully fleshed-out gymnastics club for teenagers, complete with a French translation that integrates seamlessly into your game. Whether your Sim is a clumsy beginner or a future Olympic hopeful, this activity pack delivers five distinct progression levels that keep gameplay fresh and rewarding.
What Does the Gymnastics After-School Activity Include?
This isn't just a simple rabbit hole event. The Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley mod creates a structured pathway for teen Sims to develop athletic skills over time. The activity is designed around five progressive ranks that reflect a young athlete's journey:
- Gymnaste novice (Novice Gymnast) - The starting point where teens learn basic tumbling and balance.
- Gymnaste aguerri(e) (Seasoned Gymnast) - Builds on fundamentals with more complex routines.
- Gymnaste en formation (Gymnast in Training) - Introduces apparatus-specific drills.
- Gymnaste en équipe régionale (Regional Team Gymnast) - Competitive focus with higher skill demands.
- Étoile montante de la gymnastique (Rising Star of Gymnastics) - The ultimate rank, unlocking unique interactions and confidence boosts.
Each level requires consistent participation and skill development, giving your teen Sim a tangible goal to work toward. The mod also adds a supportive club environment where teens can build friendships with fellow gymnasts, fostering a sense of camaraderie that extends beyond the gym mat.
Why Choose the French Translation Version?
The original LilyValley mod is excellent, but it ships in French only. The Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley add-on takes that experience and makes it accessible to a wider audience. The translation file is meticulously crafted, ensuring that all UI text, notifications, and level names appear correctly in French while maintaining the authentic flavor of the original content. This is particularly valuable for players who enjoy immersive language learning or who prefer their game interface in French.
If you are looking to download Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley, the process is straightforward. The translation file is designed to drop directly into the existing LilyValley mod folder, so you don't need to hunt for a specific spot. Simply unzip the main mod, add the translation file inside, and place the whole folder into your Sims 4 Mods directory.
How to Install the Mod Properly
Knowing how to install this add-on correctly saves you from common modding headaches. Follow these steps for a smooth setup:
- Download the original LilyValley gymnastics mod from the creator's page.
- Unzip the downloaded folder to reveal the mod files.
- Download the Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley translation file.
- Place the translation file directly inside the unzipped LilyValley mod folder.
- Move the entire folder into your Sims 4 Mods directory (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods).
- Enable "Script Mods" and "Custom Content" in your game settings before restarting.
This mod requires only the base game, so you don't need any expansion packs to enjoy it. That said, it works beautifully alongside other teen-focused content packs, and it is fully compatible with the latest game patches. The mod has been tested with both the standard and Legacy Edition versions of The Sims 4, ensuring broad compatibility for players on different system configurations.
Gameplay Benefits for Teen Sims
The gymnastics activity isn't just about skill points. It weaves narrative depth into your teen's daily routine. After school, your Sim will travel to the gym and participate in training sessions that last several hours. During these sessions, they build the Motor skill, gain fitness, and develop a new gymnastics-specific skill that tracks their progress through the five ranks. The club environment also triggers unique social interactions, allowing teens to encourage each other, share tips, or even engage in friendly rivalry.
Reaching the "Rising Star" rank is particularly satisfying. It unlocks a permanent confident moodlet and gives your teen a significant boost to their overall athletic performance. This can translate into better grades in Physical Education classes and even open up new career opportunities in the athletic track later in life.
Mod Compatibility and Performance
One of the standout features of this add-on is its lightweight design. The Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley translation file adds no extra scripts or heavy assets, meaning your game performance remains unaffected. It is also compatible with popular mods like MC Command Center and UI Cheats Extension, as it doesn't alter core game files. If you are using the foxygame.net launcher to manage your Sims 4 mods, you will appreciate how smoothly this add-on integrates into your existing library. The launcher's one-click install feature handles the folder placement automatically, and its add-on catalog lets you browse and install Trad FR Gymnastics (Teen) After-School Activities LilyValley without manual file management.
