lap reading for infants & reading by simkatu | Traducción Español
Family life in The Sims 4 has never been this tender. The lap reading for infants & reading by simkatu | Traducción Español add-on introduces two warm new interactions that let your Sims bond with their little ones while sneaking in some skill-building on the side. If you have been looking for a way to make infant care feel more meaningful, this mod is exactly what your households have been missing.
What This Mod Adds to Your Game
At its core, the add-on focuses on two simple but delightful interactions. The first lets a Sim read to a baby while the infant sits comfortably on their lap. The second is a quieter, more peaceful option: your Sim can improve their own skills while the baby naps on their lap. Both interactions blend naturally into everyday gameplay, turning ordinary afternoons into memorable family moments.
These features are especially appealing for players who enjoy legacy challenges, storytelling, or simply slowing down the pace of their game. Instead of rushing through infant milestones, you can let your Sims savor the early years.
New Interactions at a Glance

- Fully translated into Spanish for a smoother experience.
Spanish Translation Included
The "Traducción Español" portion of the package means every new interaction, menu option, and notification appears in Spanish. No more guessing what an interaction does, and no more mixed-language menus breaking immersion.
Compatibility and Supported Versions
Before you download lap reading for infants & reading by simkatu | Traducción Español, it helps to know where it fits. The mod is designed for The Sims 4 and generally works with recent patches, including the versions that shipped alongside the Growing Together era of infant gameplay. As with any script or tuning mod, a major game update can occasionally break things, so check that your game build matches the version the mod was updated for.
Compatibility is usually straightforward: keep your Mods folder organized, avoid overlapping mods that edit the same infant interactions, and remove any outdated duplicates. If you use other infant-focused mods, load order rarely matters here, but conflicts can appear if two mods touch identical tuning files. The foxygame.net launcher makes this painless, since it lists lap reading for infants & reading by simkatu | Traducción Español in its add-on catalog and installs it in a single click without manual file shuffling.
How to Install

Why Players Love It
There is something special about watching a parent Sim settle into a chair with a book while their infant listens intently.
