Whether you are building a new household, populating a story-driven save, or simply looking for a polished character to play, this Sim delivers a carefully crafted look that fits seamlessly into the game. She is built on the Base Game, so you do not need any expansion packs to bring her to life, though a collection of custom content is required to preserve her exact appearance.
Who Is Charity Lim?

Version Compatibility and Mod Support
Charity Lim for The Sims 4 is built around game version 1.105 and the MoreColumns-compatible ColorSlidersUI release. Because The Sims 4 receives frequent patches, always confirm that your custom content matches your current game version before installing. Sliders, skinblends, and UI mods are especially sensitive to updates, so outdated files can cause visual glitches or prevent the Sim from loading correctly. Checking compatibility first saves time and prevents frustration later.
How to Install Charity Lim
Installing this Sim follows the standard process for custom content in The Sims 4. Here is a simple breakdown of how to install:
- Download Charity Lim and extract the archive if it is compressed.
- Place the Sim files (typically .trayitem, .householdbinary, .sgi, and .hhi files) into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray folder.
- Move all required custom content packages into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.
- Enable custom content and script mods in Game Options, then restart the game.
- Open your Gallery, locate Charity Lim, and place her into a household.
If you run into trouble, double-check that every required package is present and that your Mods folder is not nested inside another folder. Missing files are the most common reason a Sim appears incomplete or fails to show up in the Gallery.
