👁️ The veilleur

Something is watching you. It is always closer than you think. 👁️ The veilleur is a horror add-on for Minecraft that turns an ordinary survival world into a slow-burning nightmare, whether you play solo or with friends. Once summoned, a pale, three-block-tall figure begins haunting players. It acts entirely on its own and chooses its victims and its moments. At first you only hear it: footsteps behind you, someone knocking on your door, breathing in your ear. Then it starts showing itself in the distance, moving your things, putting out your torches. And one night, it comes for you.

What Makes 👁️ The veilleur So Unsettling

The creature itself is designed to be wrong in every way. It is tall and thin, with cracked pale skin and arms that hang down to its knees. Its white eyes glow in the dark, it casts no shadow, and it makes no footsteps. You cannot kill it. Hitting it only makes it angry, and if you stare at it too long, it vanishes in black smoke. That combination of invincibility and unpredictability is what keeps players on edge for hours.

35+ Events That Escalate Over Time

The haunting starts slowly, then grows bolder. At night and underground, it becomes genuinely dangerous. The add-on ships with more than 35 events split across sound, sight, and direct interference.

What You Hear

  • Footsteps creeping up behind you, then nothing
  • Someone knocking on your door
  • Mining sounds in the rock, very close by
  • A creeper hissing behind you when nothing is there
  • A chest opening and closing by itself
  • Music disc 11 playing somewhere far away
  • Breaking glass, a bell, distant screams

What You See

  • It stares at you from the edge of the forest
  • It follows you and freezes the moment you turn around
  • A lightning flash reveals its silhouette
  • A sign reading "JE TE VOIS" planted behind you
  • A totem with a pumpkin head staring at you
  • Your torches going out, one by one
  • Your doors opening by themselves

What It Does To You

  • It rummages through your chests and shuffles their contents
  • It steals your torches and thanks you for the light
  • It swaps the items in your hotbar
  • It kills your animals for no reason
  • An invisible hand pushes you, a scratch appears from nowhere
  • Your camera turns around on its own, and it is right there
  • It wakes you while you sleep and stands beside your bed

It also messes with your head through chat. You get chilling messages from an unreadable sender, a "friend" who messages you with a name that is not quite right, a fake "Veilleur joined the game" notice, and even fake death messages for your friends. Full-screen titles flash IL EST LÀ, meaning he is here.

Attacks, Commands, and Installation

When it finally strikes, the encounter comes in three forms. The Jumpscare fills your screen with its face and a scream. The Hunt begins with "COURS." as darkness falls and it charges at you. The Abduction drags you to a pitch-black cave hundreds of blocks from home, or seals you inside solid rock, and a few seconds later it is already there, watching.

Operators get a small command set to control the chaos. /veilleur invoquer summons it and the whole server feels it. /veilleur supprimer banishes it back to sleep. /veilleur etat shows whether it is awake, and /veilleur declencher triggers a specific event on a chosen player, which is perfect for pranking a friend. Nothing happens until someone summons it, but once awake it stays awake, even after a server restart.

If you want to download 👁️ The veilleur without juggling manual file drops, the foxygame.net launcher handles it in a single click, pulling the add-on straight from its catalog and keeping it updated between sessions. That matters here, because 👁️ The veilleur for Minecraft requires Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric Loader and Fabric API, and it must be installed on both the server and every client. Without the mod on the client, the jumpscare face will not render. Players in Creative or Spectator mode are left alone.

Here is how to install it the manual way:

  • Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.2
  • Drop Fabric API into your mods folder
  • Place the 👁️ The veilleur file in the mods folder on the server and each client
  • Launch the game and summon it with /veilleur invoquer

Language and Warnings

All in-game texts, including messages, signs, titles, and command names, are in French, which makes the whole experience even more unsettling. Be aware that some actions really change your world: torches removed, signs and totems placed, chests shuffled, animals killed, and torches stolen from your inventory. This is intended behavior, not a bug.

👁️ The veilleur is not a mod for players who like to feel safe in their base. It is a persistent, intelligent haunting that learns the rhythm of your world and breaks it piece by piece. Play at night. Alone. Volume up. And whatever you do, do not turn around.
