HOLLOW SPIRAL v0.3.9 CHANGELOG

FULL STARTUP BRANDING
- Added explicit FancyModLoader early-startup branding for the DAI 1.9.7 branding bridge.
- Hollow Spiral now requests its companion loading background and logo before Minecraft's normal resource-reload screen.
- The Mojang logo, FML startup log and performance overlay are hidden while the Hollow Spiral early-loading theme owns presentation.
- FML progress remains visible so startup never looks frozen.

WORLD / TERRAIN LOADING
- Added a dedicated Hollow Spiral world-generation and world-entry presentation.
- New worlds, existing expedition entry and dimension/world transitions can use the Hollow Spiral loading background, logo and cyan progress treatment.
- World loading copy now reads DESCENDING INTO THE SPIRAL with expedition-sector status text.
- Minecraft's actual loading lifecycle remains untouched; only presentation is replaced.

COMPATIBILITY
- Updated compatibility metadata for DAI 1.9.7.
- Existing save_id remains unchanged so current expeditions continue resolving normally.
- Existing dungeon generation, survival balance, room generation and title-screen behavior are untouched.

HOLLOW SPIRAL v0.3.8 CHANGELOG

EXPERIENCE BRANDING
- Added DAI MAIN-experience startup branding for the updated DAI 1.9.5 core.
- Minecraft's loading overlay now uses the Hollow Spiral companion background, logo, cyan progress line and expedition status copy.
- Added the custom application/window title: The Hollow Spiral — DAI.
- Enabled companion pack.png as the Minecraft window/taskbar application icon through stable companion_id hollow_spire.

TITLE SCREEN — EXPEDITION TERMINAL
- Rebuilt the title screen as a compact cyber-industrial command deck.
- New large BEGIN DESCENT and RESUME EXPEDITION primary controls.
- Secondary navigation is arranged as a two-column terminal grid instead of one long centered stack.
- Added Hollow Spiral-native GUI icons supplied by the companion resource pack.
- Renamed the save browser to ACTIVE EXPEDITIONS and updated its empty/delete language to fit the setting.
- Retained responsive DAI title-screen behavior so compact GUI scales can still repack the controls safely.

COMPATIBILITY
- No dungeon generation, survival balance, room logic or save identity changed.
- Existing expeditions continue using the same save_id.
- Branding is declarative and only activates on a DAI core that supports MAIN-experience branding.

HOLLOW SPIRAL v0.3.7 CHANGELOG

DAI 1.9.5 INTEGRATION
- Declared the datapack explicitly as the DAI MAIN experience via pack.mcmeta.
- Migrated new-world creation from the generic minecraft:flat preset to DAI 1.9.5 high-level world_type: void generation.
- Preserved the existing experience save_id so old expeditions continue to resolve correctly.
- Prepared the datapack namespace for stable companion resource-pack auto-management.
- Updated compatibility/readme metadata from DAI 1.9.1 to DAI 1.9.5.

COMPATIBILITY
- No v0.3.6 room-generation logic was removed or rewritten.
- Existing worlds do not have their dimension regenerated; the void preset affects newly created expeditions.
- Vanilla mob mode is intentionally retained.

HOLLOW SPIRAL v0.3.6 CHANGELOG

VERTICAL STAIRCASES
- Expanded the upper-room stair aperture by two additional rows, exposing two more descending steps for easier DOWN access.
- Restricted receiving-room carving to the protected +/-5 center so Ocean pressure walls at +/-6 are no longer deleted by UP staircase generation.
- Reduced the Ocean ceiling opening used by an upward staircase to the actual stair footprint instead of a broad glass cut.
- Removed the old upper-room apron that crossed the Ocean shaft wall.
- Existing vertical links receive a one-time v0.3.6 rebuild, including lazy repair when an unloaded room is revisited.

UP / DOWN CONTROLS
- Moved UP and DOWN onto two independent two-block pylons on the north edge of the protected central shaft.
- Stair generation can no longer erase the opposite vertical button or its support space.
- A vertical button is only present if that direction has not already been generated.
- Horizontal buttons are likewise only restored while their sealed iron door still exists.
- Opening any exit now removes the actual current button, preventing one button press from retriggering the same generation for several ticks.

CORAL GROTTO
- Removed the four giant block masses from the old Grotto layout.
- Added four reusable submerged structures: Coral Arch, Reef Shrine, Broken Pavilion and Sea Gate.
- Added reef spires, rubble, coral growth, fish and a Drowned while preserving one coherent flooded chamber.
- Existing Coral Grottos receive a one-time structural rebuild and pressure-shell restoration.

CASTLES
- Every Castle now rolls one defensive population: either one persistent Iron Golem or two named villager guards (Weaponsmith + Armorer).
- Existing Castles receive the defender roll once when updated/revisited.

PREVIOUS FIXES RETAINED
- Stable Fungal Bog basins.
- Smithery roof containment.
- Structural Flooded Ruins.
- Floor-is-lava Volcano traversal.
- Modular Tiny Villages and siege-damaged masonry Ruins.
