Quillkeeper 1.1.5 - Retail WoW
==============================

Quillkeeper is an in-game roleplay ledger for tavern sales, tips, donations,
expenses, and other fictional currencies. It does not read or change real
character money.

INSTALLATION
Copy the RPLedger folder into:
World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/

Restart WoW or type /reload, then enable Quillkeeper in the AddOns list.

MINIMAP BUTTON
The small book beside the minimap opens or closes Quillkeeper. Drag it to move
it around the minimap; its position is remembered between sessions. Use
/rpl minimap if you prefer to hide it or need to restore it later.

BOOKS AND SHIFTS
A book represents one character, business, or event. Every book contains shifts,
which act like dated pages. Use the selectors at the top to change books or
shifts. New books are private and saved only to your account. Owners can make a
book shared from the Manage tab.

Private books always remain manageable by their local player. If you are viewing
a shared book that you do not manage, the Manage tab still lets you create a new
personal book.

STAFF TALLY
The Tally tab is the quick sales screen. Use + Add and - to record sales or
corrections. Wines have separate + Glass and + Bottle actions; a bottle costs
four glasses. Tips and donations use simple Gold, Silver, and Copper fields
beneath the menu, with running totals for the current shift. Undo Last adds a
reversal entry so shared history remains understandable.

LEDGER
The Ledger tab records any RP transaction. Enter an amount, currency, type, and
optional description. Gold, Silver, and Copper are converted and displayed in
that order. Other currency names are kept separately. Negative values can
represent expenses or payouts. Standard coin entries are shown as readable
totals such as 5g 1s 1c instead of one large Copper number. Managers can
right-click an entry to delete it.

REPORTS
Reports summarize the selected shift: menu sales, tips, donations, popular menu
items, participating staff, and whether the shift is open or closed. A Total
takings line combines the shift's sales, tips, and donations while the individual
figures remain visible above it. Scroll the shift list to review older or
archived shifts.

MANAGEMENT
Owners and managers can create and rename shifts, archive records, change a
book's sharing status, maintain the staff list, and edit the active book's menu.
Menu prices use separate Gold, Silver, and Copper fields. Custom items and price
changes belong only to the selected book.

SHARING
Shared books synchronize with Quillkeeper users in your party, raid, or guild.
The upper-right status shows whether staff have been detected. Entries merge by
unique ID, so receiving the same entry twice does not duplicate it. Shared
deletions leave small deletion markers, preventing an older copy from restoring
removed entries, shifts, or books during catch-up.

SAVED DATA
WoW saves everything account-wide in RPLedgerDB. Books and entries survive
logout, closing the game, and /reload. Do not edit the SavedVariables file while
World of Warcraft is running.
