Foe's Catchy Castbar
========================================

Author: Foe"
Game: World of Warcraft (Retail – Midnight / 12.0+)
Version: 1.0.0

----------------------------------------
What is Foe's Catchy Castbar?
----------------------------------------

Foe's Catchy Castbar is a replacement player cast bar focused on
clean visuals and a "magical" semi-animated background texture.

Core features:
- Enhanced player cast bar with spark + trailing wisp effects
- Latency indicator built directly into the cast bar
- Customizable bar size, position, and orientation
- Font selection for spell name and cast time (LibSharedMedia)
- Bar texture selection (LibSharedMedia)
- Color controls for bar, text, spark, and wisps
- Profile support for different characters/setups (via AceDB)

----------------------------------------
Installation
----------------------------------------

1. Download and extract the addon.
2. Make sure the folder structure looks like:

   World of Warcraft
   └─ _retail_
      └─ Interface
         └─ AddOns
            └─ FoesCatchyCastbar
               ├─ FoesCatchyCastbar.toc
               ├─ FoesCatchyCastbar.lua
               └─ (other files)

3. Restart WoW or type /reload in-game.
4. On the character select screen, click "AddOns" and ensure
   "Foe's Catchy Castbar" is enabled.

----------------------------------------
How to Use
----------------------------------------

Slash commands:
- /fcc – Open the Foe's Catchy Castbar options
- /foescb – Alternate shortcut (if enabled in this build)

Once the options window is open, you’ll see several tabs
(such as General and Colors):

GENERAL TAB
- Enable/disable the addon
- Move and scale the cast bar
- Choose fonts for spell name and cast time
- Choose bar texture (via LibSharedMedia)

COLORS TAB
- Adjust colors for:
  - Cast bar
  - Text
  - Spark
  - Wisps / tails
- Includes alpha controls where appropriate

(Exact layout may change slightly as the addon evolves, but
the main options will always live behind /fcc.)

----------------------------------------
Latency Indicator
----------------------------------------

The latency indicator shows the "safe zone" near the end of
your cast, helping you know when you can safely queue your
next spell. This is based on your current network latency and
updates automatically as you play.

----------------------------------------
Profiles
----------------------------------------

Foe's Catchy Castbar uses a profile system (per character /
per spec / global, depending on how you set it up).

Typical workflow:
- Set up the bar exactly how you want on one character.
- Copy that profile to your other characters in the Profiles
section of the options (if available in this build).

----------------------------------------
Troubleshooting
----------------------------------------

No cast bar / nothing appears:
- Make sure the addon is enabled in the AddOns list.
- Type /fcc and check that the addon is enabled in its own
  options.
- Try resetting the profile to defaults in the Profiles section.

Lua errors:
- If you use an error-catching addon (e.g. BugSack/BugGrabber),
please copy the FULL error message, including the stack trace.
- Include your WoW version and the addon version from this file
  when reporting issues.

Conflicts with other cast bar addons:
- If you are running other cast bar addons (e.g. Quartz, etc.),
try disabling them to see if there is a conflict.
- Many users prefer to let Foe's Catchy Castbar handle only the
player cast bar while leaving other addon functionality intact.

----------------------------------------
Feedback & Bug Reports
----------------------------------------

The best way to report issues:
- Mention:
  - WoW version (e.g. Retail 12.0.x)
  - Foe's Catchy Castbar version (from this README or the .toc)
  - What you were doing when the issue occurred
  - Any Lua error text (copy/paste from BugSack or the in-game error dialog)

Thank you for trying Foe's Catchy Castbar!
