RollAudit
Every raider knows the feeling. The boss finally drops the item you have been chasing for weeks, the group loot window opens, you roll a 4, and someone else walks away with a new brooch. Was that bad luck, or a pattern? RollAudit answers the question with hard numbers instead of feelings.
RollAudit is a raid loot tracking and analysis addon that automatically records every Group Loot roll available to it and stores the results in a permanent, searchable history. When the temporary loot history built into World of Warcraft clears, your records stay behind for you to review across raids, characters, and sessions.
Why Permanent Roll Records Matter
World of Warcraft keeps only a short window of recent loot information. Once it clears, past rolls vanish, and players are left with gut feelings about whether their RNG is genuinely poor or just unremarkable. RollAudit preserves roll data the moment it happens, describing your roll, the roll type, the winning player and roll, every competitor on the item, the raid, the boss, the difficulty, the date and time, and whether you won or lost.
Your Luck Score and Luck Rank
The heart of RollAudit for World of Warcraft is the Luck Score, a number from 0 to 100 that summarizes your recorded outcomes. The companion Luck Status ranges from Frozen Solid and Running Bad at the unlucky end to Hot Hand, High Roller, and Jackpot at the other. You choose the period to analyze: All Time, Current Raid, Last Raid, Last 10, 25, 50, or 100 rolls, or the last 7 or 30 days. A Luck Rank compares you against other players your copy of RollAudit has observed rolling for the same loot.
Statistics Beyond the Score
For players who want more than a single number, RollAudit tracks total qualifying rolls, average and median roll, highest and lowest rolls, wins, expected wins based on competition, very low and very high rolls, perfect 100s, how often you rolled highest or lowest, the average number of competing players, and your current and longest losing and low-roll streaks. Advanced analysis digs even deeper, so you can tell whether your unlucky stretch is statistical noise or a genuine outlier.
Compare Yourself With Recent Grouped Players
RollAudit also records statistics for the players who competed with you for loot during raid sessions. Sort them alphabetically or by average roll, filter by current, previous, or all sessions, and compare average rolls, roll counts, Luck Scores, and more.
Share Your Status
On a heater or convinced the loot gods have cursed you? Share your RollAudit status directly through supported World of Warcraft chat channels. A shared status can include your Luck Status, Luck Score, selected scope, wins and total rolls, win percentage, average roll, and Luck Rank.
Account-Wide Tracking With Local Data
RollAudit uses an account-wide database, so records from multiple characters live together while you still filter results by individual character. History persists between sessions and across addon updates through World of Warcraft SavedVariables, and the primary database stays local on your machine. The addon supports limited, summarized sharing for its social comparison features rather than syncing your full history anywhere.
Supported Versions and Addon Compatibility
RollAudit is built to sit comfortably alongside the addons you already run, with a minimap button and slash command that keep it out of your way. The addon covers supported World of Warcraft game versions including Retail, Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and MoP, so the same rolling history keeps up whether you chase modern raid tiers or relive the expansions. When you download RollAudit through the foxygame.net launcher, it automatically checks version compatibility across those clients, so the addon stays ready whenever a new patch lands.
How to Install RollAudit
Curious how to install? The process is quick. Get the addon, place the folder into your Interface/AddOns directory, and restart the game client. If you use the foxygame.net launcher, a one-click install handles the folder placement for you, and its addon catalog keeps RollAudit updated without manual downloads.
Getting Started
Once installed, enable RollAudit from the World of Warcraft AddOns screen. Roll tracking is enabled automatically, so qualifying Group Loot rolls begin building your history the moment you raid. Open the addon from the minimap button or by typing /rollaudit.
A quick note on interpretation: RollAudit describes outcomes, not causes. Statistics can show when results look unusual, but they cannot explain why those results happened, and your Luck Rank only compares you with players and rolls observed by your own copy of the addon for the selected period, not a server-wide or global ranking.
Whether you just want to remember what you rolled last Tuesday or want the full statistical breakdown behind your RNG, tracking your raids with RollAudit is the closest thing to knowing the odds. Track. Analyze. Compare. Know your RNG.
