ResetRadar
Every World of Warcraft player knows the feeling: Tuesday arrives, and you genuinely cannot remember whether your death knight already cleared the raid, whether your druid used their Mythic+ keystone, or whether that one alt you parked in Dornogal months ago still has a Great Vault slot waiting. Logging into each character just to check is tedious, and the default UI does not make it any easier. ResetRadar solves exactly that problem by showing you, in a single compact window, which daily and weekly tasks are still open on every character on your account.
The addon is designed for players who run multiple alts and want a clear overview without hopping between logins. Everything automatically flips back to "open" at the correct reset moment, even for characters you have not touched in weeks. That means the data stays accurate whether you play daily or return after a long break.
What ResetRadar Tracks
The core checklist is built around the systems that actually matter each week. For every character, ResetRadar displays:
- Great Vault progress: unlocked slots for Mythic+, Raid and World or Delves, plus whether a reward is already waiting
- Mythic+: your current keystone and whether you completed a run this week
- Raid lockouts: bosses killed per raid and difficulty, shown in formats like 5/8
- Weekly and daily quests, detected automatically from your quest log, along with any quests you pin yourself
- World boss status, currencies with a weekly cap, profession skill and concentration, and renown
- Your own manual entries, marked as daily or weekly, per character or account-wide
You can hide any row or character and switch between viewing all characters or only the one you are currently logged into. A minimap button provides a summary tooltip and an optional login message, so you get a quick status report the moment you enter the world.
Farm Targets and Loot Manager Modules
Farm Targets
The Farm Targets module is enabled by default and is aimed at collectors. Pick the mounts, pets, toys or transmog pieces you want to farm, and ResetRadar shows per character whether the relevant boss or quest is still available this reset. Statuses read Chance, Locked or Not eligible. Importantly, it never displays drop chances, only whether a kill or loot roll is still possible. Collected items are detected account-wide, so the addon knows when you no longer need to farm something. A small starter list of classic mount farms is included, and an Encounter Journal picker lets you add your own targets.
Loot Manager
The Loot Manager module is off by default and only activates after you confirm a warning. At a merchant, it presents a dry-run list of what would be sold, such as grey junk or optionally outgrown gear whose appearance you already collected. Nothing is sold until you press Sell. It never touches equipped items, equipment-set items, tier pieces, ignored items or gear whose appearance is not yet collected, and it keeps each round within the 12-item buyback limit. For warbound gear, it shows which of your characters still miss the appearance, so you can mail it to them instead of vendoring it. The module never sends mail or moves items on its own.
Commands and Supported Game Versions
ResetRadar keeps its command set simple. Use /resetradar to open or close the window, /resetradar config for settings, /resetradar farm for Farm Targets, /resetradar loot for Loot Manager, and /resetradar reset <character> to clear a character's data.
When you download ResetRadar for World of Warcraft, you get an addon that works across the major game versions, including Retail, Classic, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria. If you are wondering how to install it, the process is the standard one: place the extracted folder in your Interface/AddOns directory, restart the client, and enable the addon from the character selection screen. Players who prefer a simpler route can use the foxygame.net launcher, whose addon catalog handles the whole setup and keeps ResetRadar updated automatically across supported versions.
The addon is deliberately lightweight. It uses no external libraries, runs event-driven, and performs no scanning during combat, so it will not interfere with your rotation or add to your frame-time in raids and dungeons.
Final Thoughts
ResetRadar fills a gap that Blizzard's interface has never addressed well: a true account-wide view of weekly and daily obligations. It respects your time, never automates risky actions without confirmation, and keeps everything readable at a glance. If you juggle several characters and want to stop wasting resets on forgotten alts, this addon deserves a spot in your collection.
