Nyly's Transmog Seller
Every World of Warcraft player knows the feeling: you finish a dungeon run, a raid night, or a Collector's Bounty event, and your bags are bursting with epic-quality items you will never use. Manually vendoring each piece is tedious, and the risk of accidentally selling a favorite transmog piece is always lurking. That is exactly where Nyly's Transmog Seller steps in. This lightweight utility addon automates the boring part of inventory management, so you can spend less time clicking vendor frames and more time actually playing the game.
What Does Nyly's Transmog Seller Do?
At its core, this addon is designed to automatically sell epic-quality items that fall below a certain level requirement. By default, it targets items with a level requirement below 79, which makes it perfect for clearing out the low-level epics that accumulate during holiday events, legacy raids, or leveling alts. When you open a vendor window, the addon scans your bags and sells everything that matches your pre-saved filters, no extra clicks required.
The beauty of this tool is its precision. It is not a blunt "sell everything" button. Instead, it respects your collection habits. If you are a transmogrification enthusiast, you can easily protect the pieces you want to keep. The drag-and-drop blacklist is incredibly intuitive: simply drag any item into the skip list, and the addon will never touch it again. This ensures that your precious appearance pieces, rare drops, or sentimental keepsakes stay safe while the junk epics vanish into vendor gold.
Key Features for Collectors and Transmog Hunters
Nyly's Transmog Seller was built with collectors in mind. It understands that not all epics are created equal. Some are vendor trash, and some are hidden gems for your wardrobe. Here is a quick breakdown of what you get:
- Automatic selling: When you visit a vendor, the addon instantly sells all epic items below your configured level threshold.
- Customizable filters: You are not stuck with the default settings. Adjust the level requirement, item slots, or quality thresholds to match your playstyle.
- Drag-and-drop blacklist: Protect specific items forever by dragging them into the skip list. It is fast, visual, and foolproof.
- Pre-saved filter profiles: Set up different filters for different characters or activities. The addon remembers your choices and applies them automatically.
- Event-ready performance: During fast-paced events like the Collector's Bounty, this addon keeps your bags clear so you can keep looting without interruption.
Why You Need It During Loot-Heavy Events
Events like the Collector's Bounty shower you with epic items, but not all of them are worth keeping. Without an automated solution, you will find yourself stopping every few minutes to manually sell items, breaking your flow and wasting valuable farming time. Nyly's Transmog Seller eliminates that downtime entirely. You simply open a vendor, the addon does its thing, and you are back to the action in seconds. It is especially useful for players who grind dungeons at lightning speed or run multiple legacy raids in a single session.
Compatibility and Supported Game Versions
One of the most common questions players ask is whether an addon works with their specific version of the game. Nyly's Transmog Seller has you covered across the board. It is fully compatible with World of Warcraft Retail, as well as the classic iterations of the game. Whether you are playing WoW Classic, The Burning Crusade Classic, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Cataclysm Classic, or Mists of Pandaria Classic, this addon functions reliably. The interface and core logic are designed to work seamlessly with the modern addon framework while remaining lightweight enough for older clients.
For players who juggle multiple versions of the game, this broad compatibility is a lifesaver. You can use the same addon across your Retail main and your Classic alt without needing to configure anything differently. The filters and blacklist are saved per character, so your settings travel with you wherever you play.
How to Install Nyly's Transmog Seller
Getting started is straightforward. If you are wondering how to install this addon, the process takes less than a minute. First, download Nyly's Transmog Seller from a trusted addon repository or a launcher that supports it. Once the download is complete, extract the folder into your World of Warcraft Interface/AddOns directory. If you prefer a more streamlined approach, you can use the foxygame.net launcher to handle everything for you. The launcher features a one-click install for Nyly's Transmog Seller, which means you do not have to manually extract files or worry about folder paths. It also provides automatic updates, so you always have the latest version without checking for patches manually. The addon catalog inside the launcher makes it easy to discover and manage your entire addon list, and the version compatibility checks ensure that Nyly's Transmog Seller is always matched correctly to your specific game client.
