Kiwi Farm: The Ultimate Gold Tracking Addon for WoW

Kiwi Farm

Every seasoned adventurer in Azeroth knows that efficient farming is the backbone of a wealthy character. Whether you are grinding old raids for transmog gear or clearing current dungeons for materials, knowing exactly how much gold you are making per hour is crucial. This is where Kiwi Farm steps in as an indispensable tool for players who take their economy seriously. This lightweight addon transforms vague estimates into precise data, allowing you to optimize your routes and maximize your earnings across all versions of the game.

Comprehensive Loot and Value Tracking

The primary function of this addon is to provide a small, unobtrusive window that tracks every piece of gold and every item you loot during your sessions. Unlike basic counters, Kiwi Farm goes a step further by determining the value of those items based on pricing sources you select. This means you are not just seeing a pile of vendor trash; you are seeing real market value. By integrating with popular pricing addons like Auctionator, TradeSkillMaster4, Aux, and RECrystallize, it ensures that your calculated gold per hour reflects actual auction house potential rather than just vendor prices.

For players running World of Warcraft Retail, where the economy fluctuates rapidly, having accurate data is vital. Similarly, those playing on Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, or MoP servers can benefit immensely from understanding the true worth of their drops. The addon seamlessly adapts to the specific economy of whichever version you are currently exploring, providing a consistent experience regardless of the expansion.

Mastering Instance Resets and Lock Times

One of the most unique features that sets this tool apart is its ability to track and display instance resets and lock times. In World of Warcraft, you are limited to entering a specific number of instances per hour, usually capped at five or ten depending on the type of dungeon or raid. Efficient farmers know that pushing against this limit without tracking it can lead to wasted time and lost potential income.

Kiwi Farm monitors these limits precisely, allowing you to time your farming runs perfectly around the reset timers. You can push your farming sessions to the absolute legal limit without accidentally locking yourself out prematurely. This feature is particularly useful for solo farmers attempting to clear multiple old-world raids in a single session. By managing your resets effectively, you ensure that every minute spent in game translates directly into profit.

Installation and Configuration Options

Getting started with this powerful utility is straightforward. When you download Kiwi Farm, you will find a simple installation process that works with standard addon managers or manual folder placement. Once installed, you can access the configuration menu by right-clicking the main window. For those who prefer keyboard shortcuts, the slash commands /kfarm or /kiwifarm bring up the settings instantly. If you ever need to manually reset your instance counters, a simple Shift+Left-Click on the main window handles that task immediately.

Movement is also intuitive; simply use Left-Button+Drag to reposition the main window wherever it fits best on your UI. Furthermore, for users who rely heavily on the Details! damage meter, Kiwi Farm can be configured as a plugin. This allows you to view your farming statistics directly inside a Details plugin window, keeping all your performance metrics in one centralized location. This level of integration makes it easier than ever to monitor your efficiency without cluttering your screen with excessive frames.

If you are looking for a streamlined way to manage your addons, the foxygame.net launcher offers a fantastic solution by including Kiwi Farm in its extensive catalog, allowing for one-click installs and automatic updates that ensure version compatibility across Retail and Classic realms. This eliminates the hassle of manually checking for updates after every game patch, ensuring your gold tracking remains accurate and functional at all times.
