Forever Stocks
Every gold maker knows the routine: haul a full bag of quest junk to the Auction House, stare at a wall of listings, and wonder whether that grey trinket is worth a deposit or a vendor trip. Forever Stocks answers that question for you, item by item, before you click a single Post button. It is a bag-to-bank profitability assistant that compares the Auction House price against the vendor price, subtracts the 5% AH cut, and hands you a clear verdict on every item you are carrying.
What Forever Stocks Actually Does
The core loop is simple. You open the Auction House, and Forever Stocks opens alongside it and scans your bags automatically. Each item gets one of four verdicts:
- Sell on AH: the auction beats the vendor by at least your minimum margin.
- Low margin: the AH is slightly better, but not by enough to bother.
- Vendor: the vendor pays the same or more than the auction would.
- No listings: nobody is selling it, so there is no price to work from.
From there, posting is one click per auction. You can click Post next, roll your mouse wheel over the button, or bind a key to it. When you are done, Vendor junk sells everything marked Vendor twelve at a time, so the whole batch stays recoverable in your buyback tab.
Version Support and Addon Compatibility
Forever Stocks for World of Warcraft is built to run across the modern and legacy clients alike. It supports Retail, Classic, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria, plus the WoW: Forever realm. The interface adapts to each client, including the Retail addon menu on the minimap. One caveat worth knowing: the WoW: Forever beta currently has a client bug where addon settings are not loaded back after you log out, so settings reset each login there until Blizzard fixes it.

Your Rules, Your Margins
Forever Stocks does not force a single strategy on you. Everything is tunable in the options panel:
- Min gain %: how much the AH must beat the vendor. Ten means plus ten percent; one thousand means eleven times the vendor price.
- Undercut: set it in silver or as a percentage below the cheapest seller.
- Min profit: skip posts that are only worth pennies.
- Duration: twelve, twenty-four, or forty-eight hours.
Bank and Warband Support
Click Stocks: Scan bank while standing at your bank, and a small button above the bank window appears. Your bank and warband bank get priced with your next AH scan, and Withdraw sellables moves the winners into your bags when you return. It is a clean way to clear out hoarded materials without manually cross-referencing prices.
Checking Prices Away From the Auction House
Click the minimap button, use the Retail addon menu, or type /fs to open the window anywhere. Away from the AH, Forever Stocks falls back on your last scan's prices, or Auctionator and TradeSkillMaster prices if you run either, so you can sort bags and vendor junk on the road. Posting always rechecks the live price at the Auction House first.
Safety Features That Matter
Gold-making addons live or die on trust, and Forever Stocks is careful about it. Your own auctions are ignored when it hunts for the cheapest price. Before posting or selling, it verifies the slot still holds the exact item it scanned, down to the same item level. Prices older than thirty minutes cannot be posted until you rescan. Equipment-set items are never posted or vendored, and right-clicking any row ignores that item permanently.
One genuinely useful touch: when the game reports no vendor price for an item that does sell, which happens on Forever, the addon shows Vendor price ? rather than guessing. It learns the real price the next time you open any vendor and remembers it from then on.
Commands and Getting Started
A short guided tour with a picture of each step opens the first time you log in. You can disable it on the tour itself or under Options > AddOns > Forever Stocks, and reopen it any time with the question mark button or /fs tutorial.
- /fs opens or closes the window (/stonks works too).
- /fs undercut 2% sets a two percent undercut; /fs undercut 1 sets one silver.
- /fs bank shows your saved bank list.
- /fs cut 5 changes the AH cut percentage.
- /fs reset clears ignored items and the window position.
- /fs minimap toggles the minimap button.
When you are ready to download Forever Stocks, grab it from your preferred addon source, drop it in your AddOns folder, and follow the standard how to install steps for your client. If you hit a bug, leave a comment with any red error line the addon prints in chat.
