Corrupted Loot Tools
Progression raiding is a delicate balance of performance, attendance, and fairness. When a boss finally drops that coveted piece of gear, the Loot Council faces a decision that can shape the next weeks of progression. Corrupted Loot Tools, or CLT, transforms this process from gut-feeling debates into a transparent, data-driven workflow that every raider can understand and trust.
Created by Goldbear for the EU guild Corrupted on Echsenkessel, this Retail World of Warcraft addon extends the RCLootCouncil workflow with configurable candidate rankings, attendance tracking, Warcraft Logs performance data, wishlist gains, player-wide loot history, and raid roster management. CLT does not replace RCLootCouncil. It adds a structured decision layer around the existing RCLC voting session while keeping the final decision firmly in the hands of the Loot Council.
One Addon, Two Role-Based Interfaces
Every raider installs the same complete addon. Corrupted Loot Tools automatically derives the player's role from RCLootCouncil. Master Looters and Loot Council members receive the full management and ranking interface, while regular raid members get a compact personal view containing only their relevant session items and their own score.
The Master Looter calculates and automatically sends the personal score after RCLC processes a candidate response. Members never receive the complete roster, attendance, performance, wishlist, or ranking database. Full database synchronization is restricted to Council users and always requires explicit approval. Pass, auto-pass, transmog, and responses configured as ignored are excluded from the personal member view.
Live RCLootCouncil Integration
Loot Decision reads the selected item, candidates, classes, and responses directly from the active RCLootCouncil VotingFrame. The integration includes:
- Automatic synchronization with the item currently selected in RCLC
- Live ranking updates when candidates, responses, gains, attendance, performance, loot balance, or scores change
- Support for regular sessions and /rc test
- Search and sorting by player, response, score, gain, and other metrics
- Manual standalone items when no RCLC session is available
- A dedicated CLT button attached to the RCLC VotingFrame
Under Settings to Responses, every configured RCLC response position can be marked as either Counted or Ignored. Ignored candidates remain visible for context, but are greyed out, placed below active candidates, and receive neither a score nor a rank. They also do not affect the gain normalization of other candidates.
Transparent and Configurable Scoring
CLT uses five configurable components. The default formula is: Score = 20% Attendance + 25% Performance + 35% normalized Item Gain + 10% RCLC Response/BiS + 10% relative Loot Balance.
Attendance
Calculated from recorded raid days using 1 for full attendance, 0.5 for partial attendance or late arrival, and 0 for absence. Empty or unset days are not included in the calculation.
Performance
Based on imported Warcraft Logs values including overall average, median average, item level average, and item level median. Separate difficulty weighting exists for LFR, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. Only the character selected as the current roster main contributes performance.
Item Gain
Uses the candidate's wishlist or Droptimizer gain relative to the highest counted gain for the current item. The ranking source can be selected independently between WoWAudit and WoWUtils. Upgrade tracks such as Veteran, Champion, Hero, and Myth are evaluated separately.
RCLC Response / BiS
Each numerical RCLC response position can receive its own configurable BiS base value. The assignment remains stable even if the visible response text is renamed in RCLootCouncil.
Relative Loot Balance
Loot is counted across all linked characters belonging to the same player. This prevents character changes or frequently used alts from resetting a player's loot history. All weights and individual values are configurable, and the final score is always limited to a range from 0 to 100.
Attendance and Raid Calendar
CLT includes a complete attendance workspace with a searchable and scrollable player list, a spreadsheet-style attendance table, manual values of 1, 0.5, and 0, and import from tab-separated spreadsheet data. Export uses the same spreadsheet-compatible format. The addon supports automatic creation of attendance players during roster import, guild-rank-based player import, and recording the current raid group as a complete attendance snapshot.
A monthly raid calendar with recurring raid schedules, season-based attendance filters, and raid day details including time, raid, difficulty, defeated bosses, notes, and distributed loot rounds out the package. Linked characters count toward the same attendance player.
Roster and Character Links
The roster workspace supports manual editing and dedicated roster imports using Discord, Character-Server, Class, Spec, Position, RosterPosition, and OffRole fields. Additional features include separate character and realm storage, consistent Character-Server display, main-character selection for Warcraft Logs performance, and multiple characters linked to one player or loot group. Shared loot totals between mains and alts, searchable player-group assignment tables, and raid role, class, specialization, off-role, armor type, tier-token, and raid-buff overviews are all included. Changing a player's main does not remove the loot collected by previous characters.
Loot History and Wishlist
The Loot workspace combines several tools without mixing their data sources. Loot History imports from the local RCLootCouncil award history and supports search by player, item, response, or distributor. Season and raid filters, a sortable loot list, deletion of individual entries, configurable counted responses, custom response colors, and WoWAudit-style stacked loot summaries are all present. Player-wide loot totals across linked characters and CLT spreadsheet-compatible export formats round out the feature set. Wishlist refreshes never modify Loot History automatically.
The Wishlist section supports separate WoWAudit and WoWUtils sources, WoWUtils Droptimizer and QE Live support, and RaidBots gain conversion using the stored simulation baseline. Difficulty filters for Normal, Heroic, and Mythic, automatic item-to-boss assignment, raid and boss views, compact team overviews grouped by item, and player cards showing class, upgrade track, and gain are all included. The source used by the Wishlist view can be selected independently from the source used for live Loot Decision scoring.
Warcraft Logs Performance
Performance data is imported through the optional CLT Companion desktop application. The Companion reads the current CLT roster and selected mains, uses Warcraft Logs API v2, retrieves performance values for the selected raid and difficulty, and generates an import batch for the addon. New data imports after the next /reload or game restart. The Companion supports backups, diagnostics, tray mode, addon updates, and team synchronization. Personal Warcraft Logs credentials are stored securely through Windows DPAPI, and no shared Warcraft Logs client ID or secret is included. The Companion is optional; the addon can still be used without imported Warcraft Logs performance data.
For players looking to streamline their setup, the foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install for Corrupted Loot Tools for World of Warcraft, bundling the addon with automatic updates and version compatibility checks across Retail, Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and MoP clients, so you never have to worry about manually tracking addon releases again.
Profiles, Seasons, and Synchronization
CLT supports multiple independent raid-group profiles. Each profile can have its own roster, attendance, loot history, wishlist, character links, seasons, response configuration, formula weights, ranking source, and UI settings. Approved Council users can synchronize the active profile inside the current party or raid. The synchronization workflow requires discovery, a direct request, and explicit confirmation by the receiving player. Optional realtime synchronization batches later changes without repeatedly rebuilding the interface.
Interface Features
The addon offers automatic German interface for deDE clients and English for all other client locales. A resizable main window, separate Admin and Member window sizes, compact Member interface, flat navigation without deeply nested main tabs, searchable and sortable tables, class-colored character names, configurable accent color and font, minimap button, RCLootCouncil VotingFrame button, collapsible status-bar mode, and built-in changelog and diagnostics complete the package.
Optional Integrations and Compatibility
CLT integrates with RCLootCouncil, RCLootCouncil-wowaudit, WoWAudit Companion, WoWUtils, WowUtils Bridge, and Warcraft Logs API v2 through CLT Companion. RCLootCouncil is strongly recommended and required for the complete live Loot Council and automatic personal-score workflow. The addon is designed for World of Warcraft Retail, with the underlying data structures remaining compatible across Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and MoP environments for guilds managing multiple versions.

Final Thoughts
Corrupted Loot Tools is a decision-support tool, not an automatic loot-awarding system. Tier-set bonuses, role-specific breakpoints, encounter requirements, raid composition, player availability, and progression priorities can always justify a decision that differs from the calculated ranking. The final decision remains with the Loot Council. The addon was developed with the assistance of generative AI tools, with all features and generated code directed, reviewed, and tested by the project author. Despite these reviews, errors, compatibility issues, or unintended behavior may still occur, and CLT is provided as-is without any guarantee of complete accuracy. By bringing structure, transparency, and data to the loot process, Corrupted Loot Tools for World of Warcraft gives your raid team the confidence that every piece of gear goes where it matters most.
