Auctionizer: The Auction House Addon That Sells Your Bags for You
If you have ever spent twenty minutes clicking through stacks of cloth, ore, and green gear just to list them one by one, Auctionizer was made for you. This addon replaces the default auction house window with a fast, automated interface that lists everything sellable in your bags, prices it against the current market, and lets you post it all with a handful of clicks. Formerly known as Auction Master, it has grown into one of the most complete auction house tools available for World of Warcraft.
What Auctionizer Does
The core idea is simple: open the auction house and Auctionizer already knows what you can sell. Every sellable item in your bags appears with its price, quantity, and profit, and the total profit sits at the bottom of the window. Bound items, quest items, conjured items, and gear with used charges are filtered out automatically, while damaged items show in red until you repair them. You can set quantity and stack size per item, and the addon remembers your stack size the next time you sell the same thing. Full stacks and a partial stack for the remainder are built for you.
Automatic Pricing and the Sell Panel
Pricing is where Auctionizer saves the most time. Each item gets the lowest current buyout undercut by one copper, and your own auctions keep their price so you never undercut yourself. When nothing is listed, the price comes from Auctionator or TradeSkillMaster if you run either of them, and you can always type your own number. Click an item and its sell panel opens beside the row, showing every current offer with seller, quantity, and unit price, with your own auctions marked in green. One click takes a price, another posts all stacks.
Buying, Shopping Lists, and Tooltips
The buy tab holds a shopping list per character plus a full auction search. Search by name, by shift-clicking an item link, or by category and subcategory. Results group by item with the quantity on offer and the best unit price. Add an entry to your shopping list with one click and type how many you need, then use Check prices to see what the whole list costs right now. Prices cover the full wanted quantity, calculated from the cheapest stacks that hold it rather than just the cheapest single auction. The buy panel marks the auctions your purchase will take, cheapest first, and skips anything that sold in the meantime.
Prices also appear in item tooltips for anything Auctionizer has seen on the auction house, per unit for stackable goods, shared across all characters of the same realm and faction, with older prices showing their age and anything past two weeks dropped.
Supported Game Versions and Compatibility
Auctionizer for World of Warcraft supports Classic Era and Season of Discovery, WoW Forever, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Titan Reforged. On Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria the addon loads but leaves the auction house untouched. On WoW Forever it works with the new auction house: commodities post as one auction of the whole quantity and are bought by the unit, while gear is handled piece by piece. The interface ships in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese.
If you would rather skip manual addon folders entirely, the foxygame.net launcher installs Auctionizer in one click and keeps it updated automatically, so version compatibility across Retail and the classic clients is handled for you. The same catalog covers companion addons like Profession Master, which feeds its missing reagents straight into your Auctionizer shopping list.
Your Auctions, Bids, and Extra Tools
- The auctions tab lists everything you have on sale and flags undercut auctions in red, with one-click cancel and a cancel undercut option that works through them one after another.
- The bids tab shows your bids and marks the ones you were outbid on.
- Chat commands: /az switches between Auctionizer and the default auction house, /az help opens the help window, and /az logs shows the log window.
- Addon authors can hook into the global AuctionizerApi table for prices, offers, searches, and shopping list management.
- Choose between the Classic golden frame look and a modern Flat look, with a scale slider to fit your screen.
How to Install Auctionizer
To download Auctionizer, grab the addon from your preferred addon site or launcher, extract it into your World of Warcraft Interface/Addons folder, and restart the game. Log in, open the auction house, and the new window appears in place of the default one. From there, selling a full bag of questing loot takes seconds rather than minutes.
Whether you are a goblin playing the market or a raider who just wants their reagents bought at the best price, Auctionizer removes the busywork from the auction house and leaves you with the gold. Install it once, and you will wonder how you ever listed items by hand.
