XiaoFu's Chinese Recipe Book by XiaoFuuu - Tradução PTBR
If your Sims are tired of the same old mac and cheese, it might be time to shake up their kitchen routine. XiaoFu's Chinese Recipe Book by XiaoFuuu - Tradução PTBR brings a fully functional Chinese cookbook into The Sims 4, letting your households prepare authentic dishes that range from cute desserts to comforting soups. This Brazilian Portuguese translation makes every menu, interaction, and recipe name readable for PTBR players, so nothing gets lost in translation while your Sim masters the wok.
What This Chinese Recipe Book Mod Adds
The core of the mod is an interactive recipe book object. You will find it under the Small Appliances category in Build Mode, and it comes with six different color swatches, so it can match almost any kitchen aesthetic. Clicking the book opens a dedicated thematic menu where your Sim can cook genuine Chinese cuisine instead of the standard base game meals.
- Interactive recipe book with six color swatches
- Exclusive cooking menu for authentic Chinese dishes
- Support for the Simple Living lot challenge using fresh pantry ingredients
- New dish categories that organize recipes and prepare for future additions
- Dishes like Panda Ice Jelly, Claypot Rice, Century Egg Salad, Pumpkin Millet Porridge, and Mushroom and Tofu Soup
Beyond just adding food, the mod plays nicely with the Simple Living lot challenge, which means your Sims can cook these recipes using ingredients pulled straight from their fridge or garden. That small detail turns every meal into a little cooking adventure rather than a simple click-and-wait interaction.
Requirements and The Sims 4 Version Compatibility
Before you download XiaoFu's Chinese Recipe Book by XiaoFuuu - Tradução PTBR, keep in mind that it requires an updated base game, since it is a BGC (Base Game Compatible) mod. More importantly, it has a mandatory script requirement: the file XiaoFuuu_FoodPack_V1.4.ts4script must be installed in your Mods folder for everything to work correctly. Without it, the book will not function.
One important note for new users: the book itself is the foundation of the system. Individual recipes are downloaded separately from the original creator's page, and only then will they appear in the in-game menu. As with most script mods, always check that your game version matches the mod's supported version after a patch, because outdated script files are the most common cause of broken menus. If you use the foxygame.net launcher, you can add XiaoFu's Chinese Recipe Book by XiaoFuuu - Tradução PTBR to your library in a single click and let it handle version checks automatically whenever The Sims 4 updates.
How to Install XiaoFu's Chinese Recipe Book by XiaoFuuu - Tradução PTBR
Step-by-Step Installation
- Download the mod from the link provided in the original description.
- Place both the recipe book file and the required XiaoFuuu_FoodPack_V1.4.ts4script file into your The Sims 4 Mods folder.
- Remember that .ts4script files can only sit one subfolder deep, so avoid burying them in nested directories.
- If you are updating, delete the old versions completely before adding the new files to prevent duplicates.
- Enable Script Mods and Custom Content in the game options, restart the game, and search for "XiaoFuuu" in Build Mode.
Following these steps carefully is the safest way to install the mod without conflicts. Duplicate files are a frequent mistake, so take a moment to clean your Mods folder before dropping in the new version.
