Winter Love
Winter Love is a custom Sim add-on for The Sims 4 that delivers a polished, story-ready character with a soft seasonal aesthetic. If you enjoy building detailed households and giving every Sim a distinct personality, this add-on fits right into that playstyle. It is designed for players who want a character that already looks cohesive out of the box, without spending hours tweaking sliders and hunting for matching custom content.
What Winter Love Includes
Winter Love is a fully customized female Sim built around a winter-inspired look. The add-on relies on a curated set of custom content for hair, skin details, makeup, and eyes, which together create a consistent and natural appearance. Because the look depends on specific CC, installing everything correctly is important. If any piece is missing, the Sim will still load, but she will not match the reference images.
Required Packs
Before you install Winter Love, make sure your game includes the following packs:
- High School Years
- Snowy Escape
- Island Living
These packs provide the clothing, traits, and gameplay elements that Winter Love uses. Without them, some items may be replaced or hidden in Create a Sim.
Required Custom Content
Winter Love also needs a set of CC files to look correct. These include eyelashes, a New Year collection, a blush collection, winter hair, lips, a makeup collection, eyes, a peach makeup set, nose masks and presets, an eyebrow set, and a specific hair from Patreon. All of these are hosted on Curseforge, SimFileShare, and Patreon. Download each one and place the files in your Mods folder before installing the Sim.
Version Support and Mod Compatibility
Winter Love works with current versions of The Sims 4, including the base game updated through recent patches. Because it depends on custom content rather than script mods, it generally remains compatible after small game updates. However, major patches can occasionally break CC, so check that each required file is updated if something looks off. If you use other mods, keep your Mods folder organized and avoid duplicate files, since conflicts can change how the Sim appears.
For players who want a simpler setup, the foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install option that handles Winter Love and its required files automatically, so you can skip the manual folder sorting. The launcher also keeps an organized add-on catalog, making it easy to find Winter Love alongside other Sims 4 content and keep everything updated in one place.
How to Install Winter Love
Installing Winter Love is straightforward if you follow the steps in order:
- Download Winter Love for The Sims 4 from your chosen source.
- Download every required CC file listed above.
- Extract the files and place them in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.
- Enable custom content and mods in Game Options, then restart the game.
- Open Create a Sim and find Winter Love in your library.
If a CC link shows an error page, copy the link and paste it into a new browser tab. This usually resolves the issue and lets you download the file normally. Once everything is in place, Winter Love will appear exactly as shown in the preview images.
Tips for Best Results
Keep your CC files in subfolders named after each item so you can update them later without confusion. Avoid renaming files, since some content relies on specific names. If Winter Love looks different from the screenshots, the most common cause is a missing CC file, so double-check each download before troubleshooting further.
Final Thoughts
Winter Love is a well-crafted Sim add-on that saves time and delivers a cohesive winter look for your saves. With the right packs and CC installed, she becomes a reliable character for romance, family, or seasonal storylines. Download Winter Love, follow the install steps carefully, and enjoy a new personality in your Sims 4 world.
