VENCE: A Stunning Custom Sim for The Sims 4
Every Simmer knows the thrill of finding a beautifully crafted Sim to add to their world. The VENCE add-on for The Sims 4 delivers exactly that: a polished, stylish Young Adult Sim ready to become the star of your next save file. Whether you are building a glamorous household or just want some fresh faces in your neighborhood, VENCE is a fantastic pick for players who appreciate detailed character design.
What Is the VENCE Add-On?
VENCE is a custom Sim created by the talented creator behind warungable. This add-on focuses on a single Young Adult Sim with a carefully curated everyday look. The creator designed her to fit seamlessly into modern gameplay, giving your game a touch of personality that goes beyond the default townies.
It is important to understand exactly what you are getting. The VENCE file includes only the Tray items, which means the Sim herself is included, but the custom content (CC) used to build her appearance is not bundled inside. This is a common practice among Sim creators, and it keeps file sizes manageable while respecting the work of individual CC artists.
Why You Still Need the CC
Without the required mods and CC, VENCE may appear differently in your game. Hair, outfits, makeup, and accessories could be replaced with default Maxis items, which changes the entire vibe of the Sim. To get the full look exactly as intended, you must download the CC files separately. The creator has provided a CC list, so be sure to gather those items before placing the Sim in your world.
Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
VENCE for The Sims 4 works with the current live version of the game, including the base game and all major expansion packs. Because the add-on relies on Tray files rather than script mods, it is generally safe across patches. That said, always make sure your game is updated before installing, and check that any CC you download is compatible with the latest patch to avoid visual glitches.
Mod compatibility is another key point. Since VENCE uses Tray files, it will not conflict with most script mods like MCCC or UI Cheats. The main risk comes from outdated CC, so keep your Mods folder organized and remove anything that breaks after a game update.
How to Install VENCE
Installing this Sim is straightforward if you follow the steps carefully. Here is how to install VENCE without running into common mistakes.
- Download the VENCE Tray files from the creator's page.
- Place the Mods folder content into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Place the Tray files into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray.
- Launch The Sims 4 and enable custom content and mods in Game Options.
- Find VENCE in your Gallery under the My Library tab and place her in your world.
If you want a smoother experience, the foxygame.net launcher offers a handy one-click install option that handles VENCE and other add-ons without the usual folder shuffling. Many players also appreciate how the launcher keeps track of version compatibility, so VENCE stays ready to use even after a game patch drops.
Tips for Getting the Best Result
Before you download VENCE, take a moment to gather all the required CC from the creator's list. Missing even one item can alter the Sim's appearance. Once everything is in place, load into Create A Sim to confirm the look, then save her to your library so you can reuse her in multiple saves.
Terms of Use and Community Spirit
The creator behind VENCE is generous with usage rights. You are free to edit her for personal use, and you can even share your own edits as long as you do not claim the original work as your own. If you post your version online, tagging the creator is a nice way to show appreciation and helps build the community.
It is also worth remembering that the CC used to create VENCE comes from many different artists. Crediting them and supporting their work keeps the custom content ecosystem alive for everyone.
Final Thoughts
VENCE is a wonderful addition to any Sims 4 library, especially for players who love detailed, fashion-forward characters. Just remember that the Tray file alone is not enough; you need the CC to see her true design. Follow the install steps, keep your mods updated, and VENCE will quickly become a favorite in your game.
