Whether you're building a bustling family home or a chic café, this mod is a must-have for adding variety to your Sims' culinary experiences.
What is the TRICOLOUR LASSI ( BUTTERMILK) Add-On?
This fantastic custom content pack introduces three distinct lassi drinks, each with its own unique colour and flavour profile. As the name suggests, the "tricolour" theme is represented by the three stunning hues: saffron orange, vanilla white, and pistachio green. Each drink is not just visually appealing but also provides a specific mood buff to your Sims, making them feel refreshed and cooled down, especially on those hot summer in-game days. The add-on is designed to be simple to use, with options to prepare multi-serving batches or grab a single drink straight from the fridge.
The Three Refreshing Varieties
Let's break down the delicious options your Sims can now master:
- Saffron Lassi: This vibrant orange drink requires a Homestyle Cooking level of 2. To craft it, your Sim will need milk, any fruit, and nutmeg as optional ingredients. Once consumed, it grants the "Orange Buttermilk" buff, which is perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
- Vanilla Lassi: A classic and creamy white option, also requiring Homestyle Cooking level 2. The ingredients include milk, fruit, and vanilla. This one provides the soothing "White Buttermilk" buff, ideal for a calm evening.
- Pistachio Lassi: For a nutty twist, this green-hued drink is the choice. It also needs a Homestyle Cooking level of 2 and calls for milk, fruit, and pistachios. Enjoy the "Green Buttermilk" buff for a unique sense of well-being.
Compatibility and Requirements for The Sims 4
One of the best features of the TRICOLOUR LASSI ( BUTTERMILK) for The Sims 4 is its incredible compatibility. It is base game compatible, meaning you don't need any expansion packs to enjoy these drinks. However, it is crucial to note that this add-on requires the "CUSTOM FOOD OBJECTS" mod to function. Additionally, for the pistachio and vanilla variants, you will need the corresponding "Pistachio" and "Vanilla" optional files. While any milk from the base game or the Cottage Living expansion will work, the mod is designed to be conflict-free with other mods, so you can safely add it to your existing setup.
When you download TRICOLOUR LASSI ( BUTTERMILK), you are getting high-quality assets. The multi-serving drink has a poly count of 545 vertices/814 polys on high settings and 471v/680p on medium. The single-serving version is even lighter at 253v/346p, ensuring smooth performance even on lower-end systems. For those who use the foxygame.net launcher, adding this mod is a breeze. The launcher's add-on catalog makes it simple to find and install the TRICOLOUR LASSI ( BUTTERMILK) with a single click, and it automatically handles version compatibility checks, so you can spend less time managing files and more time playing.
How to Install TRICOLOUR LASSI ( BUTTERMILK)
If you are wondering "how to install" this fantastic add-on, the process is straightforward. First, ensure you have the prerequisite "CUSTOM FOOD OBJECTS" mod downloaded and installed in your Mods folder. Next, download the main TRICOLOUR LASSI files and place them in the same directory: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Remember to also add the optional ingredient files for pistachio and vanilla if you want to craft those specific recipes. After placing the files, make sure to enable "Script Mods" in your game settings if you haven't already, then restart your game.
Once installed, your Sims can immediately start preparing these lassis. Simply click on the fridge, select "Cook...", and navigate to the new recipes under the Homestyle Cooking section. You can choose to make a large batch for the whole household or a quick single serving. The drinks are perfect for parties, family dinners, or just a quiet afternoon at home. The visual presentation is stunning, with each glass showing off its distinct colour, making it a great addition for screenshots and storytelling.
