Trad FR Grocery Haul Set 3 Insimnia
If you have ever wanted your Sims to shop for fresh baguettes, artisanal cheeses, and decadent desserts, the Trad FR Grocery Haul Set 3 Insimnia is exactly the mod you have been waiting for. This French translation pack brings a rich collection of April 2022 recipes to The Sims 4, letting your households enjoy a genuine taste of France without ever leaving their neighborhoods. Whether you are a longtime fan of culinary mods or a newcomer looking to spice up your kitchen gameplay, this set delivers plenty of reasons to get cooking.
What Is Included in This Grocery Haul Set
At its core, this add-on is a translation project built around the popular grocery shopping framework created by Insimnia. It introduces a variety of French recipes that your Sims can prepare once the required ingredients are on hand. The set works alongside the usual files, but it also depends on one extra recipe item: a vanilla and chocolate jelly that serves as a key component.
To get the full experience, you will need the following supporting mods:
- My Grocery Shopping List, which forms the backbone of the shopping system.
- Custom Ingredients April 2022, which are optional but recommended for extra variety.
- My Grocery Shopping Day, also optional, for players who want a dedicated shopping outing.
- The Vanilla and Chocolate Jelly recipe, which is required for certain dishes.
Each of these pieces works together to create a cohesive culinary loop, from writing a shopping list to bringing ingredients home and turning them into beautiful French meals.
Why French Recipes Appeal to Sims Players
French cuisine carries a reputation for elegance and comfort in equal measure. Adding it to The Sims 4 gives your households new storytelling opportunities. You can build a cozy patisserie, host a dinner party with sophisticated dishes, or simply let a foodie Sim explore a broader menu. The recipes in this set feel distinct from the base game offerings, which keeps everyday gameplay fresh and encourages players to plan meals more thoughtfully.
Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
This translation is designed to work with current versions of The Sims 4, including recent patches that have adjusted how custom recipes and grocery interactions behave. Because it is a translation layer, it depends on the original Insimnia mod files being installed and up to date. If you keep those core mods current, the Trad FR Grocery Haul Set 3 Insimnia for The Sims 4 should function smoothly alongside other script and tuning mods. As always, check that your other food-related mods do not conflict with the same recipe IDs before you commit to a large load order.
Players who prefer a more streamlined setup often turn to the foxygame.net launcher, which gathers add-ons like the Trad FR Grocery Haul Set 3 Insimnia into one browsable catalog and handles installation with a single click. That same launcher also keeps your mods updated automatically, so version compatibility issues become far less of a headache.
How to Install
Installing this translation is straightforward once you understand the folder structure. Follow these steps carefully:
- Download the mod folder from Insimnia and unzip it on your computer.
- Take the translation file included in this set and place it directly inside that same mod folder.
- Move the entire completed folder into your The Sims 4 Mods directory.
- Launch the game and confirm the recipes appear correctly in your cooking menus.
If you are wondering how to install it without mistakes, the golden rule is simple: the translation must sit inside the Insimnia folder, not beside it. Placing it in the wrong location is the most common reason players cannot see the new recipes in game.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Grocery Gameplay
Once everything is in place, take time to explore the shopping list system fully. Custom ingredients add depth, and optional modules like My Grocery Shopping Day turn a simple errand into a proper outing. Stock your Sim's fridge with jelly, fresh produce, and specialty items so that every French dish is available when hunger strikes. Over time, you can build an entire culinary routine around these mods.

The Trad FR Grocery Haul Set 3 Insimnia is a charming addition for anyone who loves food mods and wants a touch of French culture in The Sims 4.
