The holiday season in The Sims 4 just got a whole lot tastier with the Trad FR Grocery Haul Dec 2022 Insimnia add-on. This charming mod brings a touch of French culinary flair to your Sims' kitchen, introducing a unique recipe that features a beautifully rendered roast chicken, along with three festive dishes perfect for December gatherings. Whether you're a seasoned modder or a newcomer looking to spice up your gameplay, this add-on offers a delightful blend of realism and cozy domesticity.
What's Inside the December 2022 Grocery Haul?
This add-on is a translation and integration project that builds upon the original Insimnia mod. The core of the Trad FR Grocery Haul Dec 2022 Insimnia experience is the "Grocery Haul Dec 2022" recipe set. While the description mentions only one primary recipe with optional ingredients from various Insimnia mods, the translation file also includes three distinct recipes that were created in December 2022. These are:
- Pecan Cheesecake Bar
- Roast lamb with golden potatoes
- Mini sausages aperitif
Each dish is designed to bring a festive, hearty feel to your Sims' dinner table. The star of the show, however, is the roast chicken, which the creator notes "looks really good" in-game. The add-on requires the base "My Grocery Shopping List" mod to function, but the additional ingredients from Insimnia are optional, giving you flexibility in how you want to experience the content.
Compatibility and Required Mods
Before you download Trad FR Grocery Haul Dec 2022 Insimnia, it's important to understand the mod structure. This add-on is not a standalone mod; it is a translation file that must be merged with the original Insimnia mod folder. The primary requirement is the "My Grocery Shopping List" mod, which provides the base framework for the grocery system. For a more immersive experience, you can also integrate "My Grocery Shopping Day" (optional but cool for gameplay) and the "December 2022 ingredients" pack (also optional).
Regarding supported versions, this mod is designed for The Sims 4 and works seamlessly with the base game and most expansion packs. As with any mod, it's crucial to ensure your game is updated to the latest patch to avoid compatibility issues. The mod does not conflict with major overhauls, but if you use other food or recipe mods, you may want to test for conflicts in your Mods folder.
