Trad FR : Assorted Candy/Chocolate Grocery Insemnia
If you love building cozy retail lots in The Sims 4, the Trad FR : Assorted Candy/Chocolate Grocery Insemnia add-on is exactly the kind of content that makes your shops feel alive. This French translation of Insimnia's candy and chocolate collection brings colorful sweet packages straight into your game, letting you stock shelves, decorate counters, and even craft treats that fit a charming old-fashioned grocery store aesthetic.
What This Add-On Includes
The Trad FR : Assorted Candy/Chocolate Grocery Insemnia is a translated version of one of Insimnia's decoration and recipe sets. It focuses on assorted candies and chocolates, packaged in pretty wrappers and boxes that look perfect on display. Instead of plain, generic clutter, you get themed items that turn any bakery, candy shop, or corner store into a believable little business.
Because it is a translation file, the core objects come from Insimnia's original mod, while the French text is provided separately. That means you need both parts working together to see everything correctly in your game.
Decorations and Recipes
- Assorted candy packages for shelving and counter displays
- Chocolate boxes and wrapped sweets for grocery-style builds
- Recipe-related content tied to the candy and chocolate theme
- French-localized names and descriptions for a polished feel
Supported Versions and Compatibility
The add-on is designed for The Sims 4 and works with current patch levels, though it is always smart to check that your game is updated before installing. Since it relies on Insimnia's original mod files, compatibility depends on keeping that base content current too. If you run a heavily modded game, test the items on a fresh save first to rule out conflicts with other custom content.
Script mods and custom content should be enabled in your game options for everything to appear properly. If you use multiple translation files from different creators, keep them organized in separate folders so you can troubleshoot quickly when something does not show up.
How to Install Trad FR : Assorted Candy/Chocolate Grocery Insemnia
Learning how to install this add-on is straightforward once you understand the two-part structure. Follow these steps carefully:

- Place the translation file directly inside the original mod folder.

Why It Fits Grocery and Bakery Builds
Sweet shops are some of the most fun lots to design in The Sims 4, and this set gives you the visual variety those builds need. Rows of candy packages and chocolate boxes create depth on shelves, while the recipes let your Sims actually produce and sell treats. Pair it with rustic counters, wooden crates, and warm lighting for a nostalgic grocery atmosphere.
Because the content is translated into French, players who prefer that language get a more immersive experience without losing the original creator's intent. The Trad FR : Assorted Candy/Chocolate Grocery Insemnia for The Sims 4 keeps names and descriptions readable while preserving the charming style Insimnia is known for.
Tips for Best Results
- Keep the translation file inside the original mod folder, not loose in Mods.
- Update both files after major game patches.
- Use the items together for a cohesive candy aisle or display window.
