Thaloris Mermaid Family from the Summer Court
The Thaloris Mermaid Family from the Summer Court is a fan-made household for The Sims 4 that blends mermaid occult gameplay with High Fae fantasy lore. Created by SimLuci as an original expansion of the A Court of Thorns and Roses universe, this trio of characters does not appear in Sarah J. Maas' books. Instead, they were designed to fill out the courts, add depth, and make a custom save file feel genuinely alive. If you love coastal builds, mermaid tails, and romantasy storytelling, this family deserves a spot in your game.
Meet the Thaloris Family
Each member of the household has a distinct personality and skill focus, which makes them fun to play across multiple save files.
- Serenya – An elegant mermaid, music genius, and owner of a private beachside music school. She anchors the family's creative and business ambitions.
- Dylan – Serenya's water-magic-wielding High Fae husband. He works as a lifeguard and is an ocean lover for life.
- Adrian – Their talented, slightly dramatic son who dreams of fame and may have a soft spot for the Summer Court's princess, Cresseida.
The mermaid-meets-High-Fae concept fits the watery, sun-soaked vibe of the Summer Court perfectly, and it gives you a ready-made storyline the moment you place them in Sulani or any coastal world.
Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
This household is built for The Sims 4 on PC and Mac through the EA app or Origin. It relies on Tray files, which work with the current live version of the base game, so you do not need every expansion to load the family. That said, the creator uses Seasons, My Wedding Stories, and Get to Work, and those packs unlock the full intended experience.
Mod compatibility matters here. To make everything appear correctly, you should install Expanded Mermaids and Fairies vs Witches by SpinningPlumbobs, plus the Royalty Mod by llazyneiph. The household also includes a long list of custom content, from mermaid tails and genetics sets to skins, hairs, and accessories. Missing CC will not break your game, but sims may load with replacement items or default features.
Keeping track of that much CC by hand is tedious, which is why the foxygame.net launcher is worth a look. Its add-on catalog lets you install the Thaloris Mermaid Family from the Summer Court in a single click, then handles auto-updates so your files stay matched to the latest game patch. Version compatibility checks run quietly in the background, which saves you from the usual round of broken downloads after a Sims 4 update.
How to Install the Thaloris Family
If you prefer a manual setup, the process is straightforward. Here is how to install the household step by step.
- Download the ZIP file containing the Tray files.
- Unzip the folder on your computer.
- Move the Tray files into Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray.
- Place all required CC and mods in your Mods folder.
- Enable Mods and Custom Content in Game Options, then restart the game.
Once you load your save, the family should appear in your Gallery library under your own catalog. Place them on a beachfront lot, give Serenya her music school, and let Adrian chase fame while Dylan patrols the shoreline.
Why This Household Works in Your Save
Download Thaloris Mermaid Family from the Summer Court if you want more than a pretty face in your Gallery. These sims come with backstories, careers, and relationships that slot neatly into fantasy or island-themed saves. Pair them with mermaid gameplay mods and you get swimming, singing, and spellcasting in one household.
For players building an ACOTAR-inspired world, the Thaloris Mermaid Family from the Summer Court for The Sims 4 adds the kind of original lore that makes a custom save feel lived-in rather than copied. They are a small, self-contained story you can expand however you like.

The Thaloris Mermaid Family from the Summer Court is a charming fan project that rewards players who enjoy occult gameplay, coastal aesthetics, and romantasy storytelling.
