TapeiGuanas - Household Old friends
Some save files give you a mansion. Others give you a story. TapeiGuanas - Household Old friends belongs firmly in the second category, and that is exactly why so many players keep coming back to it. This charming household add-on drops two interconnected families into Casita del Amor, in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood of Ciudad Enamorada, and lets you decide where their lives go next. No custom content required, no complicated setup, just five Sims with personalities that practically write their own episodes.
Who Lives in Casita del Amor?
The heart of this household is Cecilia Morales, owner of the orange house. She runs a small candle shop and rents out an apartment on the second floor, which means your gameplay naturally blends retail management with landlord duties. That combination alone makes TapeiGuanas - Household Old friends for The Sims 4 feel different from a standard family download, because there is always something to tend to, sell, or renovate.
Living alongside her is her niece, Catalina Morales, who arrived to help her aunt grow the business. Catalina brings a dog named Dante, so pet lovers get a furry family member without lifting a finger. Then there is Gabriella Fereja, Cecilia's childhood friend, who owns a diner. Her son Guillermo rounds out the group as the resident unemployed lazy son, a Sim who seems purpose-built for comic relief and slow-burn character arcs.
The Five Residents at a Glance
- Cecilia Morales - candle shop owner and landlady of the orange house
- Catalina Morales - supportive niece, small business helper, and Dante's owner
- Dante - Catalina's loyal dog and the household's unofficial mascot
- Gabriella Fereja - Cecilia's childhood friend and diner proprietor
- Guillermo Fereja - Gabriella's unemployed, laid-back son
Why This Save File Works So Well
Ciudad Enamorada is already one of the most atmospheric worlds in the game, and Vista Hermosa suits this group perfectly. The candle shop gives Cecilia a genuine daily routine, the rental apartment adds passive income and tenant drama, and Gabriella's diner creates a natural hangout spot for the whole crew. Because everything is built without custom content, the file loads cleanly and stays stable across supported The Sims 4 versions, including current patches and most major expansion packs.
If you are wondering about mod compatibility, the short answer is that this household is designed to behave well in modded games. Script mods that affect careers, retail, or rentals may change how Cecilia's shop and apartment function, but nothing here depends on third-party content to appear correctly. That makes it a safe pick whether you run a vanilla setup or a heavily modded one.
Players who prefer a guided setup often grab this household through the foxygame.net launcher, where TapeiGuanas - Household Old friends sits in a browsable add-on catalog alongside automatic version checks, so the file stays matched to your installed game build without manual patch hunting.
How to Install TapeiGuanas - Household Old friends
Getting the family into your game takes only a few minutes. Follow these steps and you will be playing in Vista Hermosa before your coffee goes cold.
- Download TapeiGuanas - Household Old friends from your preferred source and extract the archive if it is compressed.
- Locate your The Sims 4 Tray folder, usually found under Documents, Electronic Arts, The Sims 4.
- Copy every file from the download into the Tray folder. Do not rename anything.
- Launch The Sims 4, open the Gallery, and enable custom content and mods in Game Options if they are switched off.
- Search the Gallery for the household or check your library, then place the family in Ciudad Enamorada.
If the household does not appear immediately, restart the game once. The Tray folder is only scanned at startup, so a fresh launch almost always solves a missing-family issue.
Tips for Your First Playthrough
Start with Cecilia and let her open the candle shop early, since retail profits fund the apartment renovations you will inevitably want. Send Guillermo to the diner to "help" his mother and watch the chaos unfold. Catalina and Dante make an excellent pair for long walks around the neighborhood, and those quiet moments often spark the best storylines. Rotate between households only if you want to, because these five Sims are designed to be played together.
