Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation
If you have ever wished your Sims could celebrate more meaningful holidays without wrestling with English-only text, the Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation is exactly what your game has been missing. This add-on converts KawaiiStacie's beloved holiday mod into fully localized Spanish, letting players enjoy eight brand-new holidays plus three surprise holidays without ever leaving their native language. Whether you play in Castilian Spanish or Latin American Spanish, this translation keeps every festive detail readable and immersive.
What the Special Vacation Mod Adds
The base mod, created by KawaiiStacie, expands The Sims 4 calendar with a rich set of seasonal events. The Spanish translation preserves every mechanic while translating all names, descriptions, and notifications. Here is what you can expect:
- Eight new holidays spread across the in-game year, each with unique traditions and goals.
- Three surprise holidays that appear unexpectedly to keep gameplay fresh.
- Fully editable holiday settings, so you can rename, reschedule, or remove any event to match your story.
- Spanish-language text for every holiday objective, reward, and pop-up notification.
Because the mod overrides the default calendar, it will conflict with any other premade holiday mods you may have installed. If you use multiple calendar-altering mods, keep only one active at a time to avoid broken holiday lists or missing traditions.
Supported Versions and Compatibility
Game Version Support
The Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation for The Sims 4 is designed to work with the current patch level of the base game. It does not require any expansion packs, game packs, or stuff packs, which makes it accessible to every player regardless of their DLC library. As long as your game is updated to a recent version, the translation should load without issues.
Mod Compatibility Notes
Since this add-on replaces the calendar system, you should avoid running it alongside other holiday-overhaul mods. Mods that only add custom traditions or tweak individual holiday icons are usually fine, but anything that rewrites the calendar will clash. Always check your Mods folder for duplicates before launching the game.
For players who prefer a smoother setup, the foxygame.net launcher offers a handy add-on catalog where the Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation can be added to your library with a single click, and the launcher then keeps it aligned with your current game version automatically.
How to Install the Spanish Translation
Installing this translation is straightforward, even if you are new to modding The Sims 4. Follow these steps:
- Download Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation from the creator's official page. Remember that the file you are getting is only the Spanish translation, not the original mod.
- Make sure you already have the base Special Vacation mod installed, since the translation depends on it.
- Extract the downloaded package using a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Place the extracted .package files into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.
- Launch the game, open Options, and confirm that script mods and custom content are enabled.
- Check the calendar in-game to verify that the new holidays appear with Spanish names.
If the holidays do not show up, double-check that you did not leave the files zipped and that no other calendar mod is overriding them. Removing conflicting files usually solves the problem immediately.
Customizing Your Holidays In-Game
One of the best features of this mod is flexibility. Every holiday added by Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation can be edited directly from the calendar screen. You can adjust traditions, change the season, rename events, or delete holidays you do not want. This means you can tailor the experience to your Sim family's story, whether you want a cozy winter gathering or a lively summer festival.
The three surprise holidays are especially fun because they break the routine and give your Sims unexpected days off. Keep an eye on the calendar notifications so you do not miss them.
Final Thoughts
The Special Vacation by KawaiiStacie Spanish translation is a fantastic pick for Spanish-speaking Simmers who want richer seasonal gameplay without language barriers. It respects the original mod's design, adds full localization, and remains easy to install and customize. Just remember to keep your calendar mods limited to one and to verify game version compatibility after major patches. With a little setup, your Sims will be celebrating in style all year long.
