Sims 4 - More Birthday cakes | Spanish Translation By RoshySims
Birthdays in The Sims 4 have always been a little underwhelming when it comes to the cake itself. You age up your Sim, everyone cheers, and the same generic dessert sits on the counter. That is exactly the gap that the Sims 4 - More Birthday cakes | Spanish Translation By RoshySims add-on fills, and it does so with charm. This Spanish translation by RoshySims brings custom, themed birthday cakes to your game so your celebrations finally look as special as the moment deserves.
What This Birthday Cake Add-On Adds
The original mod introduces handcrafted cake designs that go far beyond the vanilla options. According to the creator, the pack currently includes baby shoe cakes made with twins in mind, though they work just as well for a baby shower, plus a soccer cake built for the football fanatic in every household. The Sims 4 - More Birthday cakes | Spanish Translation By RoshySims version makes all of these items readable and usable for Spanish-speaking players, so item names and descriptions appear in your own language instead of English.
If you have ever thrown a themed party and wished the cake matched the occasion, this is the add-on for you. A twin reveal, a baby shower, or a sports-themed birthday all get their own centerpiece now.
Requirement: The Buyable Cake Mod
Before you rush off to download Sims 4 - More Birthday cakes | Spanish Translation By RoshySims, there is one important detail to understand. This add-on is a translation, and it depends on the original cake mod being installed. The creator notes that you will need the Buyable Cake mod for everything to function correctly.
Interestingly, the custom cakes do not appear in Ravasheen's list of buyable cakes. The creator explains that the mod uses a bit of Ravasheen's code to make its own cake box work, which is why the requirement exists even though the cakes are listed separately. Keep both files in your Mods folder and you are good to go.
Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
Translation files like this one are lightweight by nature, which is good news for stability. The Sims 4 - More Birthday cakes | Spanish Translation By RoshySims add-on is designed to work alongside the current patch level of The Sims 4 and does not touch core game files. That means it plays nicely with most other mods, including large script mods and custom content libraries.
What to Keep in Mind
- Make sure the original cake mod is installed and updated before adding the translation.
- Remove any older duplicate translation files to avoid conflicts.
- Check that your game is patched to a recent version, since outdated script mods can break cake interactions.
- If cakes do not appear, verify that mods are enabled in Game Options and that script mods are allowed.
For players who manage a big mod folder, the foxygame.net launcher offers a tidy alternative: it keeps Sims 4 - More Birthday cakes | Spanish Translation By RoshySims and the rest of your add-on catalog organized in one place, so version compatibility checks and updates happen without you hunting through folders manually.
