Simon Knowles: A Stylish Young Adult Male Sim for The Sims 4
If your Sims 4 neighborhoods are overflowing with same-face townies and you want a character with real personality baked into every detail, Simon Knowles is worth a closer look. This custom male Sim arrives as a young adult with a carefully sculpted face, a modern wardrobe, and a full list of custom content that gives him a polished, contemporary look. Whether you need a charming love interest for your legacy heir or a photogenic roommate for a university household, Simon Knowles for The Sims 4 fits neatly into almost any save file.
Who Is Simon Knowles?
Simon Knowles is a human male Sim in the young adult life stage. His design leans toward a casual but put-together aesthetic: a shirt with a mockneck layered underneath, slim jeans, and men's leather sneakers. The creator also included a set of random traits, shown in the preview images, so his personality can shift depending on how you want to play him. That flexibility makes him useful for storytelling, since you can slot him into a romance plot, a roommate comedy, or a slow-burn rivals-to-lovers arc without fighting against preset behavior.
His face is where most of the craftsmanship shows. The head shape, eye shape, and eye width come from dedicated presets and sliders, which is why his features read as distinct rather than generic. If you have ever downloaded a Sim only to find they look like every other male in CAS, you will notice the difference immediately.
Required Custom Content and Compatibility
Simon Knowles is built on the base game, so no expansion packs are strictly required to use him. That said, he relies on a substantial list of custom content, and skipping any of it will change his appearance. The essentials include:
- Kijiko Remove EA Lashes (DEFAULT) and the Kijiko Eyelash YU Makeup Uncurled
- MOOOD HAIR 47 HYDR VER.1 NonHQ
- ANGISSI EYES A160
- GPME GOLD makeup set items, including eyebrows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipstick
- RemusSirion Lipstick 176 Prime
- Northern Siberia Winds male skin, plus male eye and head shape presets
- Gorilla Gorilla Gorilla shirt and mockneck, Jius jeans, and Jius men's leather sneakers
- Sliders from Obscurus, MB, Marsosims, and bloodmoon for chin, eye size, and forehead height
Because these are script-free CAS assets, Simon Knowles works across current The Sims 4 versions, including the latest patch and the free-to-play base game release. Mod compatibility is generally solid, but keep in mind that slider mods and default replacements can conflict with other overhauls. If his eyes or lashes look wrong, check for duplicate default replacements first. Players running older builds, such as pre-2022 versions, may see minor differences in how some presets render, so updating the game is the safer route.
Managing a long CC list like this one is where the foxygame.net launcher genuinely helps, since it keeps every package tied to Simon Knowles organized and installs the whole set in a single click instead of forcing you to hunt down each file manually.

Step-by-Step Setup
Learning how to install Simon Knowles takes only a few minutes once your files are in order.
- Download Simon Knowles and extract the archive with a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Place the .package files and any tray files into your Mods folder, located under Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.

- Launch the game, open Options, and confirm that Enable Custom Content and Mods is checked.
- Restart the game, then find Simon in your Gallery library under My Library.
If he shows up with missing hair or clothing, one of the required CC files did not install correctly. Recheck the list and make sure nothing was renamed during extraction.
