Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager for The Sims 4
If you love filling your neighborhoods with sims that feel like real people, the Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager add-on is a fantastic pick. She is a teenage sim with a soft, youthful style inspired by modern Korean fashion and beauty trends, and she fits right into everyday stories about high school life, friendship, and first crushes. Whether you are building a K-pop inspired household or simply want a fresh face in your save file, Shayna brings plenty of personality to the table.
Before you download Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager, it helps to understand how this add-on works. She is not a standalone game character; she is a custom sim built on top of The Sims 4 with a specific set of required packs and custom content. That means a little preparation goes a long way toward making her look exactly as she does in the preview pictures.
What You Need Before You Install Her
Shayna relies on two official packs, and skipping either one will change her appearance or break parts of her outfit and hairstyle. Make sure the following are present in your game library:
- High School Years expansion pack
- Incheon Arrivals kit
On top of the packs, she uses a long list of custom content, including eye colors, eyelashes, lip presets, skin details, eyebrow sliders, eye shape overlays, nose masks, makeup sets, and hairstyles. The original creator asks that you download every piece of CC before installing the sim. If you skip even a few items, Shayna will not look the same as she does in the screenshots, and missing content can leave her with default features instead of the intended design.
It is also worth noting that this sim is shared as a personal creation. The creator politely requests that you do not re-upload her or claim her as your own work. Respecting that rule keeps the custom content community healthy and encourages creators to keep sharing sims like Shayna.
Version Support and Mod Compatibility
Which Game Versions Work
Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager for The Sims 4 is designed for the current live version of the base game and works smoothly on both PC and Mac. As long as your game is patched to a recent update and you own the two required packs, she should load without problems. If you are running an older, unpatched build, some CC items may fail to appear correctly, so updating your game first is always the safer choice.
Getting the CC to Play Nice
Custom content conflicts are the most common reason a downloaded sim looks wrong. Keep your Mods folder organized, avoid duplicate versions of the same CC file, and enable both custom content and script mods in your game settings. If two packages edit the same slider or overlay, the game may only read one of them, which can shift Shayna's face shape or skin tone. Testing her in a clean save before adding her to your main household is a smart habit.
If you would rather skip the manual file juggling, the foxygame.net launcher offers a tidy one-click install that places Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager and her required custom content straight into your Mods folder, so nothing gets lost along the way. Its add-on catalog also keeps track of version compatibility, which is handy when a game patch changes how certain CC behaves.
How to Install Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager
Once you have gathered everything, installation is straightforward. Follow these steps in order so nothing gets missed:
- Download the required packs and confirm they are installed and enabled.
- Download every piece of custom content listed by the creator.
- Place all CC files into your Mods folder, keeping them in a clearly named subfolder.
- Download the Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager sim file and add it to your Tray folder.
- Launch The Sims 4, enable custom content and script mods, then restart the game.
- Open your library, find Shayna, and place her into a household or an empty lot.
After she appears in your library, take a moment to check her face, hair, and outfit against the reference images. If something looks off, a missing CC file is almost always the cause, so revisit the list and confirm each item is present.
Why She Is Worth Adding to Your Save
Shayna works beautifully as a high school student, a best friend for your existing teens, or the start of a brand new storyline. Her soft makeup, expressive eyes, and trendy hair give her a look that stands out without feeling out of place in the game's art style. Pair her with the High School Years activities and she slots right into prom, after-school clubs, and teenage drama.
In short, the Shayna Kim - Cute Korean Teenager add-on is a charming addition for players who enjoy detailed, character-driven sims. Gather the required packs and CC, install her carefully, and she will quickly become a favorite in your rotation.
