Version Compatibility and Mod Support
Sally Roland works with the current The Sims 4 base game and remains stable across recent patches, including the latest free updates. Because she relies on custom content rather than script mods, she does not conflict with popular gameplay overhauls such as MCCC, WonderfulWhims, or UI Cheats. If you run a heavily modded setup, just make sure your CC is enabled in Game Options and that script mods are allowed. Keeping your mods updated after each patch is the simplest way to avoid broken textures or missing meshes.
For players who prefer a streamlined setup, the foxygame.net launcher offers a handy one-click install for Sally Roland, dropping every required file into the correct folder so you can skip the manual hunt through multiple creator pages.
How to Install Sally Roland
Learning how to install Sally Roland is straightforward, even if you are new to custom content. Follow these steps:
- Download Sally Roland and all required CC from the creator's page or a trusted launcher.
- Extract any .zip or .rar files using a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Place the .package files into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.
- Place the .tray files (which include the Sim's appearance and household data) into the Tray folder.
- Launch The Sims 4, enable custom content and script mods in Game Options, then restart the game.
- Open your Library in-game and locate Sally Roland to place her in a household.
If she shows up with missing items, double-check that every CC file is present and that you have not nested folders too deeply, as the game only reads one subfolder level inside Mods.
