RSM (Spa Day) - Better Quality Drinks Spa Day Tray
If you have ever sent your Sims to a luxury spa day in The Sims 4, you know that the ambiance is everything. The calming music, the soft towels, and the refreshing beverages all contribute to that perfect relaxation session. However, for many players, the default drink visuals in the Spa Day Game Pack have always felt a little flat. That is where the RSM (Spa Day) - Better Quality Drinks Spa Day Tray comes into play, transforming those mundane beverages into visually stunning works of art that elevate the entire spa experience.
This mod is a must-have for builders and storytellers who pay attention to the finer details. Instead of seeing the same generic cups and dull liquid textures, this add-on replaces them with high-resolution, beautifully crafted drink models that look good enough to serve at a five-star resort. Whether your Sims are sipping cucumber water or a fruity mocktail, every drink now looks refreshing and premium.
What Does the Better Quality Drinks Tray Change?
The core function of this mod is straightforward yet impactful. It overhauls the visual presentation of the drinks that appear on the spa day tray. The original description notes that "The Drinks of the Try are now outstanding," and that is an accurate summary. The mod focuses on improving the texture quality, color depth, and overall model fidelity of the beverages served during the Spa Day wellness activities.
Specifically, you will notice:
- Enhanced Textures: The liquids look more realistic, with better reflections and gradients.
- Improved Glassware: The cups and glasses have sharper edges and more defined shapes.
- Better Color Saturation: Fruit infusions and herbal teas appear more vibrant and appetizing.
- Consistent Quality: All drinks on the tray match a higher standard of visual fidelity, removing the "flat" look of the base game items.
This mod does not alter the gameplay mechanics, moodlets, or skill gains. It is purely a visual enhancement, ensuring that your game's performance remains stable while looking significantly better.
Compatibility and Game Versions
Before you download RSM (Spa Day) - Better Quality Drinks Spa Day Tray, it is essential to check your game version. This mod is designed to work with the Spa Day Game Pack and is generally compatible with the latest patches of The Sims 4. However, as with any custom content, it is wise to ensure your game is updated to the most recent version to avoid conflicts. The modder typically updates the file shortly after major game patches to ensure seamless integration.
Regarding compatibility with other mods, this tray replacement is quite safe. It targets specific object resources related to the spa drinks, so it rarely conflicts with gameplay overhaul mods or script mods. However, if you use other custom content that replaces the same spa tray objects, you may experience visual glitches. In that case, you will need to choose which visual mod takes priority.

- Navigate to your The Sims 4 folder, usually found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
- Open the Mods folder. If you do not have one, create it.
- Extract the downloaded archive (usually a .zip or .rar file) containing the mod files.
