RSM (Get Famous) - After School Activities Only Once Per Week
Balancing a Sim’s education with their budding celebrity career in The Sims 4: Get Famous can feel like a full-time job in itself. Between homework, skill building, and maintaining relationships, the last thing your Sim needs is a Drama Club rehearsal eating up three afternoons every single week. That is exactly why the RSM (Get Famous) - After School Activities Only Once Per Week mod exists. It takes the relentless 2-3 day weekly schedule for after-school activities and trims it down to a single, manageable day, giving your Sim back their precious free time.
Why Change the After-School Activity Schedule?
The base game, especially with the Get Famous expansion, populates your teen Sim's calendar with multiple club meetings and activities. While these events are great for building skills and social connections, they can quickly become overwhelming. The original design often schedules Drama Club, for instance, two or three times a week. This leaves little room for other pursuits, like working on a stand-up routine, practicing guitar, or simply completing homework without the stress of a looming curfew.
This mod addresses that specific pain point. By reducing the frequency to just once per week, you create a more realistic and balanced lifestyle for your Sims. They can still enjoy the benefits of after-school activities, but on their own terms.
What Does This Mod Change?
The core function of this mod is straightforward. It directly modifies the schedule for the after-school activity associated with the Get Famous expansion. Specifically, it changes the Drama Club meeting day to Wednesday. Instead of the standard multiple-day commitment, your Sim will only need to attend once a week. This simple adjustment makes a significant difference in how you plan your Sim’s week.

Compatibility and Game Versions
This mod is designed specifically for The Sims 4 and works in tandem with the Get Famous expansion pack. It is part of a larger series of "RSM" mods that adjust after-school activity schedules for other packs, such as Discover University, High School Years, and Seasons. This particular version is tailored only for Get Famous, so you can mix and match the mods from the series to suit your gameplay style.
When it comes to compatibility, it is generally safe to use with other mods that do not touch the same schedule files. However, if you use other mods that alter the Drama Club or teen activity schedules, there might be conflicts. Always check for updated versions of the mod after a major game patch to ensure it continues to work correctly.
How to Install the Mod
Installing this mod is a simple process, even for those new to modding. To get started, you will need to download RSM (Get Famous) - After School Activities Only Once Per Week from a trusted mod repository. Once downloaded, you will typically receive a .package file. - Locate your The Sims 4 folder. This is usually found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
- Inside that folder, find or create a folder named "Mods".
- Place the downloaded .package file directly into the Mods folder. Do not place it too deep into subfolders, as the game might not read it correctly.
- Launch The Sims 4 and navigate to Game Options > Other.
- Ensure that "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked and that "Script Mods Allowed" is also checked if applicable.
- Restart the game completely for the mod to be recognized.
After following these steps, the mod will be active. You can verify it is working by checking your Sim's weekly schedule and confirming that Drama Club only appears on Wednesday.
