Road to Romance | Polish Translation
If you have ever wanted your Sims to flirt, court, and fall in love with dialogue that feels natural in your own language, the Road to Romance | Polish Translation is exactly what you need. This fan-made language pack turns one of the most popular romance overhauls for The Sims 4 into a fully Polish experience, so every sweet line and awkward rejection lands the way the creator intended. Whether you play on the latest patch or an older build, this translation keeps the romance flowing without a single missing string.
What the Road to Romance Mod Adds
The base mod expands the way your Sims build relationships. Instead of the same handful of vanilla interactions, you get a deeper romance system with new social options, a dedicated romance skill, and progression that rewards patient courtship. The Polish translation covers all of these additions, from the first nervous compliment to the moment your Sim finally pops the question.
Romantic Interactions and the Romance Skill
Your Sims can now level up a romance skill that unlocks better pick-up lines, smoother date outcomes, and more meaningful relationship milestones. Every interaction string, notification, and moodlet tied to that system is translated, so you never have to guess what a menu option actually does.
Two Versions for Different Setups
The translation ships in two builds so it matches whichever version of the mod you already run:
- LovestruckEp – designed for players who own the Lovestruck expansion pack. It uses the extra romantic systems and content that pack introduces.
- NoLovestruckEp – built for the base game. If you do not own Lovestruck, pick this one and everything still works as intended.
Choose only one. Installing both at the same time will cause conflicts and broken text.
Requirements Before You Download Road to Romance | Polish Translation
This is a translation file, not a standalone mod. It will not function on its own. Before you download Road to Romance | Polish Translation, make sure the following are already in your Mods folder:
- The original Road to Romance mod itself
- Mood Pack Mod
- ToolBox
Skip any of these and the translation simply will not load, or worse, it will throw errors when your Sims try to interact. The translation must sit in the same folder as the mod it belongs to, not in a separate directory.
Version Compatibility and Mod Support
Road to Romance | Polish Translation for The Sims 4 is maintained to match the current public release of the base mod, and it generally keeps working across recent game patches as long as the mod itself is updated. If you are running an older game version, check that your mod build lines up with the translation build you install. Mixing a new translation with an outdated mod is the most common cause of missing text.
Because this is a script-and-string package, it plays nicely with most other mods. The usual rule applies: avoid running two mods that rewrite the same romance interactions, and always keep your script mods one folder level deep in the Mods directory. If you use the foxygame.net launcher, adding Road to Romance | Polish Translation takes a single click, and the built-in add-on catalog keeps the language file matched to the exact mod version you have installed, so you never have to hunt for the right build again.
How to Install
Installing the translation is straightforward once your requirements are in place. Here is how to install it step by step:
- Download the Polish translation package and extract the archive with a tool like 7-Zip or WinRAR.
- Open your Mods folder, usually found at Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Locate the folder that contains the Road to Romance mod files.
- Drop the translation file directly into that same folder.
- Pick either LovestruckEp or NoLovestruckEp depending on whether you own the Lovestruck pack, and delete the other.
- Launch the game and confirm the mod appears in your in-game mod list.
After that, open a save and try a romantic interaction. If the text shows up in Polish, you are done. If it still appears in English, double-check that the translation is in the correct folder and that your mod version matches.
Final Thoughts
The Road to Romance | Polish Translation is a small file with a big impact. It lets Polish-speaking players enjoy a rich romance system without constantly switching mental languages mid-conversation. Keep your requirements updated, choose the right version for your expansion packs, and your Sims will be whispering sweet nothings in Polish in no time.
