Rebanada de Vida/Slice of Life x KawaiiStacie TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL
If you have ever tried to play The Sims 4 with the legendary Slice of Life mod, you already know it transforms everyday gameplay into something deeply immersive. But if Spanish is your primary language, the original English text can feel like a barrier. That is exactly why the Rebanada de Vida/Slice of Life x KawaiiStacie TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL exists. This translation pack brings every menu, notification, and interaction from KawaiiStacie's masterpiece into clear, natural Spanish, so you can focus on storytelling instead of guessing what a moodlet means.
What Is Included in This Spanish Translation?
This is not a full mod replacement. It is a language pack designed to overlay perfectly onto the original Slice of Life mod. The translation covers the Strawberry 0.8 version, which is the latest release at the time of writing. You will get all the text strings translated, including personality traits, phone texts, school events, and the famous "period" system that adds a new layer of realism to your Sims' lives.
Because the translation is modular, it respects the original mod's file structure. That means you will not lose any functionality. Every gameplay mechanic from KawaiiStacie's mod remains intact; only the language changes. The result is a seamless experience that feels like the mod was originally designed in Spanish.
Compatibility with The Sims 4 Versions
The translation is fully compatible with the Base Game of The Sims 4. You do not need any expansion packs, game packs, or stuff packs to make it work. However, if you own additional content, the translation will still function correctly because it only modifies text strings, not game assets. The mod itself works with the latest patches from EA, so as long as your game is updated, the translation will load without issues.
One important note: you must download the original Slice of Life mod from KawaiiStacie's Patreon page before installing this translation. The translation file alone will not add any gameplay features. It only translates the existing mod. The original mod is free to download, and you can find the link in the description of the translation page.

- Extract the original mod files into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.
- Download the Rebanada de Vida/Slice of Life x KawaiiStacie TRADUCCION AL ESPAÑOL translation file from the trusted source you found it on.

The launcher also keeps track of version compatibility, so if a new update for The Sims 4 breaks the mod, the launcher will notify you and offer a compatible patch.
Why Use This Translation Instead of Playing in English?
Playing a mod as text-heavy as Slice of Life in a language you do not fully understand can ruin the experience. The mod adds random phone calls, emotional events, and detailed personality quizzes. Missing the nuance of those messages means missing half the fun. This translation ensures that every joke, every dramatic event, and every sweet interaction lands exactly as KawaiiStacie intended, but in Spanish.
Additionally, the translation is community-made by Mitsuko Simmer and Dkrbto, two creators who clearly understand both the game and the language. Their work is not a machine translation; it is a careful, context-aware adaptation. You will find colloquial expressions and natural phrasing that a native speaker would use, not stiff literal translations.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Translation
Do I Need the Original Mod?
Yes, absolutely. The translation is useless without the original Slice of Life mod. The creators clearly state that they only share the translation file, not the mod itself. Always download the original from KawaiiStacie's Patreon to support the mod creator.
Will This Work with Other Mods?
The translation is compatible with most other mods because it only changes text. However, if you use another mod that also modifies the same text strings, there could be conflicts. In that case, load the translation last in your Mods folder to ensure it takes priority.
Is There a Version for Other Languages?
This specific translation is only for Spanish. The original mod is in English. If you need other languages, you will have to look for separate community translations.
