Reading in bed by Simkatu / Spanish translation by GatamolLunastra
There is something deeply relaxing about curling up with a good book before sleep, and your Sims deserve that same comfort. The Reading in bed by Simkatu / Spanish translation by GatamolLunastra add-on brings a charming new animation to The Sims 4, allowing your virtual residents to read their favorite novels, skill books, or magazines directly from the warmth of their beds. This small but delightful mod transforms a simple action into a cozy, immersive experience that fits perfectly into everyday Sim life.
What Does This Mod Add to Your Game?
The core feature is straightforward yet impactful. Once installed, clicking on any bed reveals a new interaction that lets your Sim select a book from their personal inventory and settle down to read it in bed. The animation is smooth and natural, making it feel like a genuine part of the game's existing animation set. Whether your Sim is unwinding after a long day at work or trying to finish a skill book before an important promotion, this mod adds a layer of realism and comfort that many players have been requesting for years.
It is important to note that this file is specifically the Spanish translation of the original mod created by Simkatu. The translation work, handled by GatamolLunastra, ensures that all interaction text and menu prompts appear correctly in Spanish, making the mod fully accessible to Spanish-speaking players. For the mod to function properly, you must also download the original English version from the creator's Patreon page, as the translation alone does not contain the necessary animation files or scripts.
Compatibility with The Sims 4 Versions
The mod is designed to work with the base game of The Sims 4, and it does not require any specific expansion packs or game packs to function. However, as with all custom content, it is always wise to check for updates after major game patches. The mod is a preliminary version, meaning the creator may release updates to fix bugs or add new features in the future. It generally works well with most other mods, but if you use script-heavy mods that alter bed interactions, you may encounter minor conflicts. Always test new mods in a separate save file before adding them to your main gameplay.
When you are ready to enhance your game, you can download Reading in bed by Simkatu / Spanish translation by GatamolLunastra from the translation page, and then visit the original creator's Patreon to grab the main mod file. The installation process is simple and requires only a few steps, which we will outline below.
How to Install the Mod Correctly
Installing this add-on is a quick process, but there are a few important steps to ensure everything works seamlessly. - Restart your game completely, then test the interaction by clicking on a bed with a Sim who has a book in their inventory.
