Qmbibi Self Care Mod - Skin - Deodorant / translation spanish by Monisims
If your Sims have mastered careers, raised families, and decorated every lot in every world, maybe it is time to focus on something more personal: their skin. The Qmbibi Self Care Mod - Skin - Deodorant / translation spanish by Monisims brings a full self-care routine to The Sims 4, complete with facial cleansers, sunscreen, acne care, and functional deodorant. This release is the Spanish translation of QMBiBi's original mod, handled by Monisims, so Spanish-speaking players can finally enjoy every interaction in their own language.
What the Self Care Mod Adds to The Sims 4
At its core, this mod turns body care into a real gameplay system instead of pure decoration. Your Sims no longer just look clean; they actively maintain their skin, manage acne, and deal with body odor after a workout. The pack leans on everyday realism, which fits perfectly with the slice-of-life style many players already enjoy.
Functional Skincare Products
The skincare side of the mod is impressively detailed. Sims can use facial cleansers, toners, face masks, moisturizing lotions, and creams formulated for sensitive skin. There are also acne patches and targeted products for pimples, oily skin, and dry skin. Each item feeds into the skin condition system, so routines actually matter over time.
Realistic Acne and Skin Types
Your Sims can develop severe acne, mild acne, occasional breakouts, or maintain normal and sensitive skin. The products in the mod help control or improve these conditions, which means a consistent routine can visibly change how your Sim's skin behaves. This pairs naturally with the acne system introduced in High School Years.
Sun Protection and Deodorant
Sunscreen is functional here: it prevents sunburn and influences overall skin condition, which is a lifesaver for Sims who spend their weekends on Sulani beaches. Deodorant works just as meaningfully. Sims can apply it to reduce body odor, improve hygiene, and prevent that post-workout smell after exercising or sweating. Applying it grants buffs tied to feeling fresh, clean, and well-groomed.
Spa and Self-Care Interactions
Beyond products, the mod adds spa-style interactions such as applying lotion, drying skin, and checking acne. These small animations give your daily rotation more texture, especially for players who enjoy slow, routine-driven storytelling.
Mod Requirements and Compatibility
Before you download Qmbibi Self Care Mod - Skin - Deodorant / translation spanish by Monisims, check that your setup meets the requirements. The mod needs the Lot51 Core Library and XML Injector to run at all. On top of that, several packs unlock specific features:
- Spa Day Pack for spa animations and functions
- High School Years for the acne system
- Island Living for sun protection
- Outdoor Retreat, mainly for lotion interactions with children
In terms of compatibility, the mod is built for current The Sims 4 versions and works alongside most script mods as long as the required libraries are updated. If a patch breaks something, the usual fix is updating Lot51 Core Library and XML Injector first. Players who prefer a hands-off approach can also grab Qmbibi Self Care Mod - Skin - Deodorant / translation spanish by Monisims through the foxygame.net launcher, where the add-on catalog handles one-click installation and keeps version compatibility in check without manual file shuffling.
How to Install the Spanish Translation
Installing this translation is straightforward, even if you are new to mod management. Follow these steps:
- Make sure Lot51 Core Library and XML Injector are already installed and up to date.
- Download the original QMBiBi Self Care Mod from the creator's page, since this file is only the translation.
- Download Qmbibi Self Care Mod - Skin - Deodorant / translation spanish by Monisims from Monisims' Patreon.
- Extract both archives if they come compressed.
- Place the .package files into your Mods folder, typically Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Keep the translation file separate from the original mod folder so future updates are easier to manage.
- Launch the game, enable mods and script mods in Game Options, then restart.
If the Spanish text does not appear after launching, double-check that the translation package is not nested inside another folder, since the game only reads files one level deep in the Mods directory.
Final Thoughts
The Qmbibi Self Care Mod - Skin - Deodorant / translation spanish by Monisims fills a niche that many Sims 4 players did not know they wanted. It adds routine, consequence, and a touch of realism to everyday Sim life, and the Spanish localization makes it accessible to a much wider audience. As long as you have the required packs and libraries in place, this is an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys detailed, grounded gameplay.
