If you have ever wanted your Sims to dive deep into the human psyche, diagnose emotional turmoil, and help other Sims overcome their deepest fears, then the Psychologist Career (New Careers) by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE is the perfect addition to your game. This is not just a simple job mod; it is a complete career overhaul that introduces a fully functional psychology profession with unique interactions, custom moodlets, and a realistic progression system. For Polish-speaking players, this translation package ensures that every menu, interaction, and career pop-up is rendered in clear, natural Polish, making the experience immersive and accessible.
What Does This Polish Translation Include?
This specific file is a language translation only, designed to convert the original English text from KiaraSims4Mods' Psychologist Career into Polish. The original mod introduces a brand-new career track where your Sim can work as a therapist, counselor, or even a research psychologist. With this translation, you get the full experience without struggling to understand the in-game text. It also includes a translation for the Work Interactions Pie Menu by KiaraSims4Mods, which is essential for controlling your Sim's behavior during work hours.
To get the full experience, you need to download the original mod first. The translation is an overlay, meaning it will not function on its own. Once you have both files, the Polish text will automatically replace the English strings, provided you place them correctly in your Mods folder.
Key Features of the Career Mod
- Three distinct branches: Choose between Clinical Psychology, Counseling, and Research. Each path offers unique daily tasks, promotion requirements, and salary increases.
- Custom work interactions: Your Sim can perform therapy sessions, write case notes, and even conduct group therapy using the pie menu.
- Realistic skill requirements: The career heavily relies on the Logic and Charisma skills, making it a challenging but rewarding progression.
- Unique moodlets: Experience new buffs and debuffs related to patient outcomes, such as "Breakthrough" or "Emotional Drain."
How to Install the Polish Translation
Installing this mod is straightforward, but you must follow the steps carefully to avoid conflicts. First, ensure you have downloaded the original Psychologist Career mod from KiaraSims4Mods. After that, download the Polish translation file from this page. The translation is a .package or .ts4script file that must be placed in the same folder as the original mod. Do not rename either file, as the game relies on the exact file names to load the correct string tables.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install:
- Locate your Sims 4 Mods folder: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Create a new subfolder named "KiaraPsychologist" to keep things organized.
- Place the original mod file and the Polish translation file into this same subfolder.
- Launch the game and go to Game Options > Other > Enable Custom Content and Mods.
- Restart the game to ensure the mods are loaded correctly.
If you are looking for a seamless way to manage this mod, consider using the foxygame.net launcher. This launcher allows you to manage your mod load order and provides a one-click install feature for many popular add-ons. When you use the launcher, you can easily track that the Psychologist Career (New Careers) by KiaraSims4Mods | POLSKIE TŁUMACZENIE is placed in the correct directory without manually navigating your file system. The launcher also helps with version compatibility, ensuring that your mods are not broken by a recent game patch.
Compatibility and Game Versions
This mod is designed to work with the base game of The Sims 4, but it is always best to check the original mod page for specific patch notes. The translation itself does not affect the game code, so it is compatible with most recent updates. However, if you are playing with the latest expansion packs like Growing Together or For Rent, you may experience minor text overlaps if the original mod has not been updated. Always ensure you have the latest version of the original mod to avoid any UI glitches.
The translation is also compatible with other mods that do not alter the same string tables. If you use other career mods, there is a low risk of conflict, but it is recommended to test the mod in a clean save file first. The Work Interactions Pie Menu translation is essential for this career, as it adds the specific interactions your Sim needs to perform well at their job. Without it, the career will still work, but the interactions will appear in English.
Why Choose This Polish Translation?
Previous translators have done a good job, but this version by the current author offers a fresh, updated take on the text. It uses contemporary Polish terminology that feels natural for a modern therapy setting. The translation also covers all the custom moodlets and buffs, which is something that other translations often miss.
