Princess Rhaenyra, or Queen Rhaenyra: The Targaryen Heir Comes to The Sims 4
Few characters in fantasy carry as much ambition, pride, and tragedy as Rhaenyra Targaryen. If you have ever wanted to place the Realm's Delight in your neighborhoods, the Princess Rhaenyra, or Queen Rhaenyra add-on for The Sims 4 gives you a richly detailed Sim inspired by the A Song of Ice and Fire world. This is a character-driven download built for players who love storytelling, royal drama, and the slow burn of a succession crisis played out in Willow Creek.
Who Is This Rhaenyra Sim?
This creation follows the official descriptions and George R. R. Martin's own words to the artist Amok. Rhaenyra was the first-born child of King Viserys I, almost ten years older than her half-brother Aegon, and the king's only living child by his first wife, Aemma Arryn. Raised at court and treated as heir, she grew up surrounded by flatterers and favor-seekers. The add-on captures that pampered, proud personality with a stout, regal build, silver-gold hair braided in the manner of Visenya, and a wardrobe of purple and maroon velvets, golden Myrish lace, pearls, and diamonds.
Her small mouth carries a certain petulance, and her habits reflect a restless, anxious mind. She was charming but quick to anger and never forgot a slight, which makes her a fantastic candidate for dramatic household conflicts and long-running feuds.
Traits, Aspiration, and Age Versions
The Sim ships with two traits, Romantic and Ambitious, plus the Leader of the Pack aspiration. That combination pushes her toward social dominance, passionate relationships, and a constant hunger for status, which fits a claimant to the Iron Throne perfectly.
- Traits: Romantic and Ambitious
- Aspiration: Leader of the Pack
- Teen and Young Adult versions included, sharing the same tray files
- Heavy custom content build with a reference list in a .txt file
Because the download is CC heavy, the creator includes a non-comprehensive list of required items in a text file. For the correct height and silhouette, you will need the LUMMIA body presets and slider. The striking purple eyes are an edit of the Simulantity_NDEyes, and they are not included in the download due to the original creator's terms of use. The gemstone crown shown in previews comes from a separate GlitterberrySims release, so grab that separately if you want the full royal look.
Compatibility and Installation Notes
The files are designed for The Sims 4 on PC and Mac, and they work with the current live patch as well as recent legacy versions, provided your game supports custom content and mods. Enable both options in Game Options, then drop the package and tray files into your Mods folder. For a full walkthrough of how to install, the process is simple: extract the archive, place the .package files in the Mods directory, move the tray files into the Tray folder, and restart the game so the library refreshes. If you use a mod manager, keep the CC list handy so you can verify nothing is missing before loading the household.
Players who prefer a smoother setup can use the foxygame.net launcher, which bundles this and similar character packs into one catalog and installs Princess Rhaenyra, or Queen Rhaenyra with a single click while keeping every dependency in sync. It also handles version compatibility checks automatically, so you spend less time hunting for stray files and more time staging the Dance of the Dragons in your save.
Building Your Targaryen Story
Once she is in your game, the real fun begins. Give her a court of loyalists, marry her into a powerful family, and let the succession tension simmer. Pair her with a Hightower rival, a brooding knight, or a second spouse to mirror the tangled politics of the source material. Her Romantic and Ambitious traits will generate plenty of autonomous drama, and the Leader of the Pack aspiration keeps her circling the center of every social group.
Whether you play her as the pampered princess expecting a crown or the embattled queen who finally wears her father's, this add-on delivers a memorable, story-ready Sim. Download Princess Rhaenyra, or Queen Rhaenyra for The Sims 4, gather the listed custom content, and let the realm decide who truly sits the throne.
