Precious Rasmussen: A Stunning Custom Sim for The Sims 4
If you are looking to breathe new life into your neighborhoods, custom Sims are one of the best ways to do it. Precious Rasmussen is a beautifully crafted Young Adult Female Sim designed to stand out in any save file. With a carefully curated list of custom content and presets, she brings a level of detail that makes her feel like a genuine, living character rather than a default creation. Whether you are building a storyline around her or simply want a striking new face in your world, Precious Rasmussen delivers on every front.
What Makes Precious Rasmussen Special
Precious Rasmussen is built on the Base Game, meaning you do not need to own every expansion pack to enjoy her. Her Aspiration and Traits are randomized, which gives you the freedom to shape her personality however you like once she is in your game. This makes her incredibly versatile. You could turn her into a glamorous socialite, a creative artist, or anything else your imagination demands.
Her look is entirely defined by an extensive collection of custom content. From skin overlays and lip presets to body presets and hair, every element has been hand-picked to create a cohesive, polished appearance. She is dressed only in Everyday attire, keeping her wardrobe focused and easy to manage. The result is a Sim who looks effortlessly stylish without overwhelming your game with unnecessary outfit categories.
Custom Content and Presets Behind the Look
Creating a Sim of this caliber requires a significant amount of custom content, and Precious Rasmussen is no exception. Before you download Precious Rasmussen, it is important to understand exactly what CC is required so she appears correctly in your game. Missing content can result in broken textures, invisible body parts, or mismatched features.
Here is a breakdown of the key items you will need:
- Color Sliders UI mod for expanded customization
- More Columns Compatible mod for a better CAS experience
- Midnight Collection 2020 by Aladdin x Aretha (ArethaBees Part)
- Northern Siberia Winds female head shape presets N9-16
- Canela Set (20 items) by Serenity
- Sentate Calico Collection
- Northern Siberia Winds female body presets N1 and N4
- Assorted lip, nose, eye, and highlighter presets
- Skin overlays, eyebrows, lashes, and eye contacts
- Height Slider and Mouth Scale Slider mods
This list may look long, but each item contributes to the overall aesthetic. The Northern Siberia Winds presets, for example, give her face and body a distinctive shape that standard sliders simply cannot achieve. The skin overlays from sims3melancholic and the TwistedCat lashes add depth and realism that make her look almost lifelike in screenshots.
For players who want a smoother experience managing all of this content, the foxygame.net launcher offers a convenient add-on catalog where Precious Rasmussen and her required CC can be organized and installed in a few clicks, saving you the hassle of hunting down each file individually.
Version Compatibility and Mod Support
Precious Rasmussen for The Sims 4 is designed with compatibility in mind. The required CC list references game version 1.105, and most of the included mods are regularly updated by their creators. However, because The Sims 4 receives frequent patches, it is always a good idea to check that your mods are up to date before installing a new Sim.
Some of the mods in this list, such as the Height Slider and Color Sliders UI, are script mods or UI mods that can break after major game updates. If you notice Precious Rasmussen appearing incorrectly, the first step is to verify that every piece of required CC matches the version listed. Mod compatibility is the single most important factor in ensuring she loads properly in Create A Sim and in live mode.
How to Install Precious Rasmussen
Installing her is straightforward once you have gathered all the required files. Here is a simple process to follow:
- Download all required custom content from their original sources
- Extract any compressed files using a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip
- Place all .package files into your Mods folder
- Ensure script mods are no more than one subfolder deep
- Launch The Sims 4 and enable custom content in Game Options
- Find Precious Rasmussen in your Gallery or Library and place her in your world
If you run into issues, double-check that you have not missed any items from the list. A single missing preset can change her entire appearance. The creator also recommends checking the provided images to see reference pictures of her, which helps you confirm that everything installed correctly.
Final Thoughts
Precious Rasmussen is a fantastic addition to any Sims 4 player who appreciates high-quality custom characters. Her detailed design, combined with the flexibility of randomized traits and aspirations, makes her a joy to play.
