Paris Byrne: A Romantic Soulmate for Your Sims 4 World
If you are looking to breathe new life into your neighborhoods, Paris Byrne is a custom Sim who brings charm, creativity, and a touch of romance to every household. Designed as a young adult female with the Soulmate aspiration, she is built for players who enjoy storytelling around relationships, artistic pursuits, and emotional connections. Whether you are setting up a cozy starter home or a dramatic love triangle, Paris fits right in.
Who Is Paris Byrne?
Paris Byrne is a base game compatible Sim, which means you do not need any expansion packs to bring her into your save file. She comes with three core traits: Cheerful, Romantic, and Creative. This combination makes her an ideal candidate for painting, writing, or music careers, while also thriving in social situations. Her Soulmate aspiration pushes her toward finding and maintaining a deep romantic bond, making her perfect for legacy challenges or rotational play.
One thing to note is that Paris does not come with any outfits included. You will need to style her wardrobe yourself, which actually gives you more freedom to match her look to your personal aesthetic. The creator recommends downloading a set of required custom content for the best visual results, including a skin overlay, non-default eyes, 3D lashes, eyebrows, hair, and an EA lash remover.
Required Custom Content and Compatibility
Before you download Paris Byrne, it is important to gather the recommended CC. These items are hosted on various platforms such as Patreon, The Sims Resource, CurseForge, and Kijiko Catfood. The skin overlay adds depth and realism to her complexion, while the Lore Eyes and Yuri Eyebrows give her a distinctive, expressive face. The Hyun Hair from CurseForge completes the look, and the EA lash remover ensures that the 3D lashes display correctly without conflicting with the game's default eyelashes.
Paris Byrne for The Sims 4 works with the base game and is compatible with most versions of the game, including the latest patches. However, as with any custom content, you should ensure that your game is updated to avoid missing mesh or texture issues. If you use mods that alter skin tones or eye defaults, double-check for conflicts.
