Mod Hula Hoop par Ozzy Sims 4 Mods - Trad FR
If your Sims have been looking for a fun way to stay in shape without dragging themselves to the gym, there is a delightful little add-on that deserves a spot in your Mods folder. The Mod Hula Hoop par Ozzy Sims 4 Mods - Trad FR brings a fully functional hula hoop object to the game, complete with brand-new moodlets and calorie-burning activity, all wrapped up in a clean French translation. Whether you play in English or French, this package makes the experience accessible to a much wider audience of players.
What This Hula Hoop Mod Adds to Your Game
Created originally by OzzySims, this functional object is far more than a decorative prop. Once placed in your world, the hula hoop becomes an interactive item your Sims can actually use. The activity introduces fresh moodlets that reflect the effort and joy of spinning that ring around the waist, giving your characters believable emotional reactions instead of a flat, repetitive animation loop.
The mod also supports several versions of the object, which means both children and adults can join in. Little Sims get to try the hula hoop for the first time, while older Sims can turn it into a light workout. Because the activity burns calories, it doubles as a casual fitness option that fits naturally into everyday household routines.
Gameplay Features at a Glance
- A functional hula hoop object with full interactions
- New moodlets tied to the activity
- Calorie-burning exercise for weight management
- Multiple object versions for children and adults
- Complete French translation of all text
Why the French Translation Matters
The original mod shipped with English strings, which left French-speaking players reading menus and moodlet descriptions in a foreign language. The Mod Hula Hoop par Ozzy Sims 4 Mods - Trad FR solves that problem by translating every label, interaction name, and moodlet into proper French. The translation package is designed to sit in the same folder as the mod itself, so the two files work together without any complicated setup.
For players who prefer to keep their game fully localized, this is a small but meaningful quality-of-life improvement. Instead of guessing what a moodlet means, your Sims' reactions read clearly and consistently with the rest of your French interface.
Supported Versions and Compatibility
This add-on is built for The Sims 4 and works across the standard release versions of the game, including current patches. Because it is a translation package rather than a script overhaul, it rarely conflicts with other gameplay mods. It plays nicely alongside most object and fitness mods, though as always it is wise to check for updates after major game patches.
If you are on Mac and the hula hoop still displays in English after installation, the fix is straightforward: import the translation into the mod using Sims 4 Studio. This extra step ensures the French strings override the defaults on systems where package priority behaves differently.
How to Install the Translation
Learning how to install this translation takes only a minute. Follow these simple steps:
- Download both the original hula hoop mod and the French translation package.
- Open your Sims 4 Mods folder, usually found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Place the translation file in the exact same folder as the mod itself.
- Launch the game and confirm the object appears with French text.
Keeping both files together is the key detail. If you separate them, the game may load the mod without the translated strings, and you will see English text again.
When you download Mod Hula Hoop par Ozzy Sims 4 Mods - Trad FR for The Sims 4, managing your growing collection of add-ons can get messy fast.
