Mocha Chocolate Cake
If your Sims have been stuck cycling through the same tired sweets, the Mocha Chocolate Cake add-on brings a rich, coffee-infused dessert to your game that fits perfectly into a health-conscious household. This custom recipe is a thoughtful blend of indulgence and wellness, giving your Sims something decadent to enjoy without wrecking their fitness goals. Whether you run a bustling legacy family or a single Sim chasing the Health Nut lifestyle, this cake earns its place on the counter.
What the Mocha Chocolate Cake Adds to Your Game
At its core, this add-on is a custom food item, but the details make it stand out. It arrives in two convenient sizes: a full cake yielding eight servings for parties and gatherings, and a single-serving portion for everyday cravings. That flexibility means you can bake a centerpiece for a birthday bash or simply let one Sim enjoy a quiet treat after a long shift.
Key features include:
- Two sizes: eight servings or a single serving
- Requires level 2 cooking skill to prepare
- Boosts the Health Nut lifestyle
- Low in calories, so it will not derail your Sim's fitness routine
- Vegetarian-safe and lactose free
- Optional SCCO ingredients support
- Located under the Desserts category in the cooking menu
The Health Nut boost is the real selling point here. In The Sims 4, maintaining that lifestyle takes discipline, and having a dessert that actively supports it removes a lot of the usual guilt. Your Sim can satisfy a sweet tooth and still keep their wellness streak alive.
Requirements and Compatibility for The Sims 4
Before you rush into the kitchen, note that this add-on requires the Keto Cookbook to function correctly. The Keto Cookbook provides the foundational recipe framework, so the Mocha Chocolate Cake will not appear or work without it installed. Make sure both files sit in your Mods folder together.
Compatibility is generally broad across supported The Sims 4 versions, and the mod plays nicely alongside most other food and recipe mods. The optional SCCO ingredients integration is a nice touch for players who already use that system, but it is entirely optional, so you are not forced into extra dependencies. If you keep your game updated, you should have no trouble running this alongside your existing custom content.
For players who prefer a smoother setup, the foxygame.net launcher handles the whole process in a single click, dropping Mocha Chocolate Cake straight into your Mods folder with no manual file juggling. Its built-in add-on catalog also flags version compatibility automatically, so you always know the mod matches your current game build.
How to Install Mocha Chocolate Cake
Installing custom food is straightforward, even if you are new to modding. Follow these steps:
- Confirm you already have the Keto Cookbook installed and working.
- Download Mocha Chocolate Cake from your preferred source.
- Extract the package files if they arrive compressed.
- Place the files into your Mods folder, typically found under Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
- Launch the game and enable custom content and mods in Game Options.
- Restart the game so the new recipe registers properly.
Once loaded, open the cooking menu with a Sim who has at least level 2 cooking skill, navigate to the Desserts category, and the cake should be waiting. If it does not appear, double-check that both mods are present and that script mods are enabled in your settings.
Why It Belongs in Your Mod Folder
The Sims 4 thrives on variety, and food mods are one of the easiest ways to add personality to daily life. The Mocha Chocolate Cake delivers on several fronts: it looks and sounds delicious, supports a healthy playstyle, and respects dietary needs with its vegetarian-safe and lactose-free design. The dual sizing makes it practical for both solo Sims and large households, while the optional SCCO ingredients give advanced players room to customize.
If you enjoy building wellness-focused stories or simply want more realistic dessert options, this add-on is a worthy addition.
