Melian Cerda: A Fashionable Young Adult Sim for The Sims 4
If you are looking to add a fresh, stylish character to your neighborhood, Melian Cerda is a young adult female Sim designed for everyday wear. She comes with a single outfit, making her a focused and easy-to-use addition to your game. This Sim is base game compatible, meaning you do not need to own any expansion packs to enjoy her in your world. However, to see her exactly as intended, you will need to download a specific set of custom content (CC).
What You Need to Know Before You Download Melian Cerda
Before you download Melian Cerda for The Sims 4, it is important to understand her requirements. She is packaged as a Sim with one everyday dress, but her full appearance relies on a long list of CC items. These include clothing, skin details, makeup, hair, accessories, and shoes from various creators. Without these files, she will appear with missing or replaced items. The good news is that all required CC is listed in the original description, so you can gather everything before installing her.
Melian Cerda for The Sims 4 works with the base game and is compatible with most recent patches. Since she uses custom content, you should ensure your game is updated to the latest version to avoid conflicts. If you use the foxygame.net launcher, you can install Melian Cerda and her required CC in one click, as the launcher automatically fetches every listed file and keeps them updated. This saves you from manually hunting down each item.

How to Install Melian Cerda in The Sims 4
Installing Melian Cerda is straightforward once you have all the required CC. First, download the Sim file and all listed custom content. Then, extract any .zip or .rar files. Place the .package files and the .tray files into your Mods folder, which is usually located at Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods. Make sure you do not place them in subfolders deeper than one level, as the game may not read them. Finally, enable custom content and mods in your game settings, then restart The Sims 4. You can find Melian Cerda in your gallery under the "My Library" tab.
If you prefer a simpler method, the foxygame.net launcher offers a curated add-on catalog where Melian Cerda is available alongside her full CC list, and it handles version compatibility checks automatically. This means you do not have to worry about missing files or outdated mods.
Compatibility and Version Notes
