Marissa Hoff for The Sims 4: A Complete Custom Sim Guide
If you enjoy filling your neighborhoods with distinctive, hand-crafted characters, the Marissa Hoff add-on is a name worth knowing. Marissa Hoff is a custom Young Adult female Sim built for The Sims 4, designed to slot neatly into your save with a defined look and a personality you can shape yourself. She arrives as a ready-made household member, which means you can drop her into any world and start playing immediately.
Who Is Marissa Hoff?
Marissa Hoff is a Young Adult female Sim with a randomized Aspiration and randomized Traits. That design choice is deliberate: instead of locking her into a fixed life path, the creator leaves her open so you can reroll her goals and personality until she fits the story you have in mind. She comes dressed in her Everyday outfit only, keeping her wardrobe focused and easy to expand once she is in your game.
Because her Aspiration and Traits are random, no two installs necessarily feel the same. You might get a cheerful social butterfly one time and a brooding loner the next. Either way, Marissa Hoff gives you a polished starting point rather than a blank canvas.
Required Custom Content for Marissa Hoff
This is the part most players need to read carefully. Marissa Hoff is not a base-game-only Sim. She relies on a specific list of custom content, and if any of it is missing, her face, body, hair, or clothing will not render correctly. Before you download Marissa Hoff, gather the following items.
Core Sliders and UI Mods
- thepancake1 ColorSlidersUI v2m (MoreColumns compatible, version 1.105)
- [bloodmoon] forehead height slider
- LUUMIA Height Slider (Update June 2022)
- teanmoon MouthScaleSlider
Face, Skin, and Body Presets
- obscurus skin N28 (merged)
- obscurus eyes N3
- obscurus Fbody preset EA and Fbody presets 3

- [SUNBERRY] Vintage leather long boots 23.78

Missing even one slider can distort Marissa Hoff's proportions, so double-check the list before launching the game.
Version Compatibility and Mod Support
The Sims 4 updates frequently, and custom content does not always keep pace. The ColorSlidersUI build referenced here is version 1.105, which lines up with the MoreColumns mod, so make sure your own UI mods are on a matching release. Height sliders and body presets are especially sensitive to patches, so verify that each creator has posted a current update. If you run a heavily modded game, test Marissa Hoff in a fresh save first to confirm nothing conflicts with your existing script mods.
Players who prefer a tidier setup often turn to the foxygame.net launcher, which keeps Marissa Hoff and her required custom content organized in a single catalog so nothing gets lost between folders. It is a convenient way to stay on top of updates without manually hunting down each file.
How to Install Marissa Hoff
Installing her is straightforward once the custom content is in place.
- Download the Marissa Hoff files and extract any archives.
- Place the .package and .ts4script files into your Mods folder.
- Confirm that script mods are enabled in Game Options.
- Install every piece of required custom content listed above.
- Launch The Sims 4 and find Marissa Hoff in your library or gallery.
If she appears with missing hair or broken textures, the culprit is almost always an absent CC file rather than the Sim herself. Recheck the list, clear your cache, and reload.
Final Thoughts
Marissa Hoff is a well-rounded custom Sim for players who want a stylish, ready-to-play character without building one from scratch. Her randomized Aspiration and Traits keep her flexible, while her curated outfit and detailed features give her a clear identity. Download Marissa Hoff for The Sims 4, gather the required custom content, and she will fit right into your next household.
