With her unique aesthetic and carefully curated wardrobe, Maria Amaya for The Sims 4 offers players a fresh personality to explore.
Who Is Maria Amaya?
Maria Amaya is a young adult female Sim designed with a focus on modern, casual fashion. She comes with an everyday dress only, meaning her default outfit is ready for daily activities like grabbing coffee, visiting friends, or pursuing a career. Her look is defined by a mock neck t-shirt dress, layered with subtle accessories that give her a trendy yet approachable vibe. The creator has paid close attention to detail, from her skin texture to her makeup, ensuring she stands out in any save file.
Required Custom Content for the Full Look
To see Maria Amaya exactly as intended, you will need to install a specific set of custom content (CC). The list is extensive but worth it for the polished result. Key items include the turksimmer Clothes SET297 Mock Neck Tshirt Dress, the Suzue Arcane Illusions Elven Necklace, and the THISISTHEM Rose Skin. Additional pieces like the turksimmer Mini Skirt and Set-Skirt, altea127 Mary T shirt, and various accessories from creators like Bobur, Coffeemoon, and LeahLillith complete her appearance. Hair from WINGS HAIR TS4 OE0423 F and makeup from S-Club and ZENX BLUSH add the final touches. Without these CC files, Maria Amaya may appear with missing textures or default replacements, so be sure to gather them all before installing.
Supported Versions and Mod Compatibility
Maria Amaya is designed to be base game compatible, meaning you do not need any expansion packs to use her. She works with the latest versions of The Sims 4, including updates through 2025. However, because she relies on external CC, her appearance depends on those files being compatible with your game version. Most of the listed CC items are regularly updated by their creators, but always check for the latest versions to avoid conflicts. If you use mod managers or custom launchers, Maria Amaya integrates smoothly as long as your CC folder is properly organized.
How to Install Maria Amaya
Installing Maria Amaya is a straightforward process. First, download Maria Amaya from a trusted source and extract the files. You will receive a .package file for the Sim and potentially a .tray file for her household. Next, place the .package file into your Mods folder, and the .tray files into your Tray folder, both located in your Sims 4 user directory. Then, download and install all the required CC listed above, placing those .package files into the Mods folder as well.
