Maddison West: A Stylish Custom Sim for The Sims 4
If you are looking for a fresh face to shake up your neighborhoods, Maddison West is a fantastic choice. This young adult female Sim brings a polished, modern look to The Sims 4, and she is ready to move into any save file you have. Whether you want a new roommate for your current household or a brand new protagonist for a rags-to-riches story, Maddison West fits right in. The best part is that she only requires the Base Game, so you do not need to own a long list of expansion packs to enjoy her.
What Makes Maddison West Stand Out
Maddison is not just another random townie. She has been carefully crafted with a specific aesthetic in mind. Her look leans into a soft e-girl style with vintage feminine touches, and the creator has put real effort into making her feel unique. From her hairstyle to her makeup, every detail has been chosen to give her a distinct personality before you even press play.
One thing to note is that her aspiration and traits are set to random. This means you get to decide who she becomes. You can give her the traits that suit your gameplay style, whether you want a creative genius, a social butterfly, or a ambitious career woman. This flexibility makes Maddison West a great fit for all kinds of stories.
Custom Content and Appearance
To get the exact look shown in the preview images, you will need to download a list of custom content. The creator has shared a detailed list of required CC, including items from well-known creators like Northern Siberia Winds, Poyopoyo, Rimings, and many others. This includes skin tones, body presets, eye contacts, makeup, and clothing items such as the Dusk Diva Boots and the Vintage Feminine Set.
Some of the key CC items include:
- Lighting Overlay 2.0 (True Black) by JOSH JO_SE_OH
- Blueberry Skin Tones and various body and head presets by Northern Siberia Winds
- Eye Contacts N6 and Makeup Set n8 by Poyopoyo
- Bow Glitter Earring and Vintage Feminine Set by Rimings
- Height Slider by Luumia
- Raven Skin Overlay by Sims3Melancholic
It is important to make sure you have all these files installed correctly, otherwise Maddison may appear with missing textures or default replacements. The creator also mentions using a personal Gshade preset for the screenshots, so if you want the exact same in-game appearance, you can download that separately.
Version Compatibility and Mod Support
Maddison West is designed to work with the Base Game, which means she is compatible with a wide range of The Sims 4 versions. Whether you are playing on the latest patch or an older version, she should function without major issues. However, keep in mind that some custom content items may need updates if the game receives a significant patch. Always check that your mods are up to date to avoid conflicts.
If you use the foxygame.net launcher, you can add Maddison West directly to your game with a single click, and the launcher will handle any future updates for her required CC automatically. This saves you the hassle of manually tracking down each file.
