What is the Luminova Mod?
Luminova is a fictional tech brand created by modder Arnie, introducing 15 new intelligent objects to The Sims 4. This set includes smart blinds, air purifiers, thermostats, and a central smart hub that revolutionizes how your Sims interact with their home. The mod adds a layer of modern convenience and automation that feels right at home in any contemporary build.
Key Features of the Smart Home Set
The Luminova collection is packed with features that go beyond simple decoration. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:
- Smart Lights: Control the lighting and colors in any room or the entire home with a few clicks.
- Smart Blinds: Open and close your blinds or shutters remotely, adding privacy and light control without your Sim lifting a finger.
- Air Quality Control: Toggle all air purifiers on or off from a central location to keep the air fresh.
- Temperature Management: Adjust all smart thermostats directly from the smart hubs for perfect climate control.
- Neo AI Assistant: A new AI assistant answers questions, provides news briefs, and even automatically requests repairs when items break. This overrides the base game's Linzy assistant on smart speakers.
- Music Streaming: Play high-quality music directly from the smart hubs and control the volume.
- Service Ordering: Order pizza or call a gardener with just a phone call from the hub.
- Utilities Access: View bills, utility info, neighborhood action plans, and story progression news.
- Cheats Menu: Access cheats directly from any smart hub, eliminating the need to find a mailbox. This is fully compatible with the CheatsMaster mod.
