Lara Rains CC for The Sims 4
If you enjoy filling your neighborhoods with sims who already have personality, style, and a complete wardrobe, Lara Rains CC is exactly the kind of download that saves you hours in Create A Sim. This human female adult sim arrives fully dressed, fully styled, and ready to move into any world you choose. She is the creation of SakuraLunari, a creator known for polished sims that blend seamlessly into the game.
Who Is Lara Rains?
Lara is an adult female sim built around a lively social concept. Her aspiration is Party Animal, and her traits are Good, Active, and Overachiever. That combination makes her a sim who thrives at gatherings, keeps her fitness up, and still manages to chase her goals with determination. She works well as a roommate, a best friend for your legacy heir, or the centerpiece of a brand-new household.
One important note: the aspiration and traits require the High School Years expansion pack. If you do not own that pack, the sim will still install, but those specific elements may not carry over correctly. The creator has tested Lara in game, so you can expect her to appear as intended when your packs and custom content are in place.
What Is Included in the Download
Lara Rains CC is not just a sim file. She comes with a carefully assembled list of required custom content, which is why she looks so consistent once installed. The required items include:
- Skin and eyes: NorthernSiberiaWinds Skin N15 A and Eyes N27
- Eyebrows: GoppolsME F Eyebrows G9
- Hair: Simpliciaty Arcadia Hair
- Eyelashes: Kijiko 3D Lashes, makeup version, plus the Remove EA Eyelashes mod
- Makeup: several lipsticks, blushes, eyeliners, and eyeshadows from SakuraLunari and other creators
- Nails: Rimings Nail Set
- Clothing: swimwear, dresses, pajamas, and casual pieces from Rimings
- Jewellery: Christopher067 Luxury Earrings V3
- Shoes: multiple pairs from JiusSims, including boots, pumps, flats, and sneakers
Because the list is long, it helps to download everything before you place Lara in your game. Missing pieces will show up as replacements or blank spots, which ruins the look the creator intended.
How to Install Lara Rains CC
Installing this sim follows the same process as most sim downloads. First, download the archive and unzip it. You will find two types of files: the sim package files and the custom content packages. Place the sim files into your Tray folder, which is located inside your Documents under Electronic Arts and then The Sims 4. Place all custom content files into your Mods folder.
After that, open the game and enable custom content and script mods in the options menu. Restart the game if you had it running, then head to your library. Lara should appear there, ready to be placed into a household. If she does not show up, double-check that you extracted the files rather than leaving them zipped.
Version and Mod Compatibility
Lara Rains CC was updated in August 2026 with refreshed clothing and a fixed download file. She has been tested in game and works with current versions of The Sims 4, including recent patches. As with any custom sim, your results depend on keeping your mods updated. Script mods and cc that fall behind a patch can cause loading issues, so check your folders after major updates.
If you want a simpler path, the foxygame.net launcher offers a one-click install for Lara Rains CC, pulling the sim and her required files into the right folders automatically so nothing ends up misplaced. That approach also handles auto-updates, meaning future fixes from the creator reach your setup without you hunting down new links.
Terms of Use and Credits
The creator asks that you respect a few simple rules. Do not re-upload the sim or her custom content, always credit SakuraLunari, and never claim or sell the work as your own. Paywalls, recolors, edits, and conversions to other games are not allowed. Following these terms keeps creators motivated to share more content with the community.
Final Thoughts
Lara Rains CC is a well-rounded sim download that gives you a complete character without the guesswork. Her Party Animal aspiration and outgoing traits make her fun to play right away, and her wardrobe covers everything from beach days to formal events. Grab the required custom content, install her properly, and she will fit naturally into your next save file.
