Requirements and Mod Compatibility
Before you dive into making these adorable treats, there is one essential prerequisite. The [LANA] Custom Recipe——Panda Zongzi requires Andrew's Crafting Enabler to function correctly. This dependency ensures that the custom recipe integrates properly with the game's cooking system. Make sure you have this enabler installed first, as the recipe will not appear in the menu without it.
In terms of compatibility, this mod is designed to work with the base game, meaning you do not need any specific expansion or game packs. As long as you are running The Sims 4 on version 1.115 or newer, you are good to go. It is also lightweight and does not conflict with most other custom content, making it a safe addition to your mods folder.
How to Install the Mod
Installing this custom recipe is a straightforward process. If you are wondering how to install it, just follow these simple steps. First, ensure you have downloaded Andrew's Crafting Enabler. Then, place the [LANA] Custom Recipe——Panda Zongzi files directly into your Mods folder. The creator specifically notes that you should create a new folder at most once. If you already have a folder for this mod, do not download it again to avoid duplicates.
Once the files are in place, launch your game. Remember to enable script mods in your game settings if you haven't already, as this is required for custom content to load. After restarting the game, the recipe should appear in your Sim's cooking menu under Fridge — Cook, provided your Sim meets the Homestyle level 3 requirement.
